A typical day

A typical day of dog sitting would include lots of back yard stimulation with toys or some light training/mental stimulation, a long neighborhood walk (my dogs and I usually cover 3 miles daily), followed by some more mellow house time in the evenings getting love and relaxing. Weekends usually involve an excursion to the beach for a long walk and taking in all the good smells.

Pet care experience

I am an active young professional with two wonderful dogs of my own and so much room in my heart to care for your furry friends while you need my services. I have cared for animals in some capacity for over a decade between raising my own, pet sitting dogs, cats, and horses, walking, running, and doing multi-week house sitting. I am very active and am happy to take your pet on a jog, or just a nice long walk. I’m a eureka local and live near some beautiful hiking trails.

I had Lily take care of Bleu while I was traveling through Eureka. I wish she lived in my hometown so I could have her watch Bleu all the time. Bleu is a nervous dog and I was nervous leaving him in a strange city for two days in the middle of a long trip. Practically as soon as he entered Lily's house, Bleu was relaxed and inquisitive. When he met Lily's two dogs a few minutes later, he was warmly welcomed into their family. He hardly noticed when I left. Lily is obviously a dog person who cared for Bleu, exercised him and gave him a wonderful home away from home. Could not recommend more highly.
