I have had the pleasure of watching Lexie Erdos interact with dogs (and other various animals) for many years. I believe it speaks highly of her character and devotion to animals that she volunteered at a nearby animal rescue (Double D.A.B. Riding Stable - Ripley, NY) during her summer college internship at Chautauqua Institution. Lexie has maintained a busy schedule while attending Wagner College where she is now a senior. She has proven herself responsible and dependable by being involved in various activities and still maintaining a 4.0 in her academic disciplines. Currently, Lexie is completing an internship with her collegiate newspaper, The Wagnerian, where staying organized and being punctual is a must. Most importantly, Lexie's calm demeanor and genuine love of dogs makes her an excellent candidate for a loving and responsible dog caregiver. I have known Lexie for 15 years and she has always had an affinity towards animals. She wants to continue her schooling in veterinary medicine to eventually be able to work with large animals, but dogs and cats have always come naturally to her as well. Her family rescues dogs so she is really good at calming down scared, aggressive dogs, knowing what behavioral signs to look for, and working on training like not pulling on the leash, etc. She is super responsible and loves dogs and all animals and will be an awesome walker.
