Hi! I have 5 years of animal care experience, two years in the shelter setting and on my 3rd year in a veterinary care. I also volunteer with a canine rescue. I am currently working full time but am available before / after my work shifts and available for overnight care in your home or mine. Due to my full time work schedule I am best equipped to do over night care. I have a home with plenty of space inside and outside. I am available to stop by in the mornings / evening to feed and walk or let out and administer medications as needed. If your pet is on a set schedule for a specific medication please let me know ahead of time and I will be happy to check my work schedule to ensure if I would be a good fit! In my home I have a 50+ lbs spayed female pit bull and a 5lb female chihuahua. In a clients home I would like to be provided with any information regarding food aggression, possessiveness, schedule the dogs follow and any special accommodations needed to best suit the pet(s). I am very flexible and have worked with all kinds of dogs with different temperaments and needs.

Alexis has been so patient and kind with my pack of dogs and my cat. She is always on top of things. My cat and one dog are on daily meds and she does amazing with keeping them on schedule. We use Alexis often and every-time she comes around the whole pack is so excited to see her. She has such a passion for what she does. Highly recommend!
I hired Lexi to take care of my puppers - to feed them, give them love and attention, administer medication to one and stay over night with them while my family and I went out of town. She did good with making sure they were fed and medication given. Communication from Lexi was lacking as I would have to message her to ask how my girls were. My puppers were happy to see us get home and were starving for attention and loves. I also was not happy to check my security cam and see that she had let strangers into my home that roamed around my house when she was there feeding my girls - that was very unprofessional as I put my trust in her to care of my fur babies not allow her friends to run around inside our house and look at our things we have.
Lexi was great! She was very friendly and you could tell she loved animals. I came home to very happy Pups.

Schedule
I do work full time so a typical day for me is waking up early, I take my dogs out, feed them, meditate if needed, one more potty break before leaving. They do go out mid day by a dog walker that comes in. And then after work they go outside, eat dinner, outside again and then hangout and play until bedtime where we do night treat and one more bathroom break.

I have pets at home that are super dog friendly. They absolutely love any company. I volunteer with a rescue so they are very used to other dogs coming in and out. I have the ability to separate dogs if needed, crate dogs if needed (one of my girls get crated and one does not)

I love to see a dogs full potential, I think it is great to work on basic commands such as, sit, stay, lay down, come etc with new dogs, as long as weather permits I love to sit outside and allow the dogs to explore all the smells (or walk if needed)
