I’ve worked at two animal shelters, volunteered at several more, and I foster when babies or sick animals need a safe pit stop on the way to their forever homes. I’ve bathed the unbatheable, cuddled the un-cuddlable, and yes, I’ve even cleaned up more mystery fluids than I care to admit. I love animals of all shapes, sizes, and attitudes—from the clingy lap dog to the judgmental senior cat who stares into your soul.
