Hi, My name is Leslie & I am excited to be walking or looking after your dog(s)/cat(s) while you’re at work and away! Growing up with & around dogs & cats, I would describe myself as being a very patient, happy, caring, & responsible sitter :) 🐾 MY EXPERIENCE: I have been professionally pet-sitting on Rover since 2015 (10 years this year!). In that time I have had doggie/kitty clients of all shapes, sizes, & breeds, as well as many reoccurring doggie/kitty clients with special needs, allergies, & unique temperaments. I have experience managing and monitoring medication (eyedrops, creams, pills, liquids) and special diets as well. It is my passion to care for and love pets of all needs. 🐾 SENDING PHOTOS & VIDEOS TO YOU: All clients receive a plethora of photos & videos- either over app or via client's cell if preferred. You will not even realize your pet is away :) 🐾 DROP INS/DAY-CARE/& HOUSE-SITS: I have experience doing multiple types of care: walking (30 mins or 1 hour), daily drop-ins (30 minutes or 1 hour), daily day-care (from 4-9 hours in YOUR home *message me if you need this, Rover does not offer it as an option), and house-sits overnight in your home- while you’re away, I can take care of indoor and outdoor plants, mail, packages, keeping clean, and more!

🐾 IF SITTING IN YOUR HOME: Please let me know if you have any specific/unique rules or requirements about your home so that we can discuss prior to the booking. 🐾 HOUSEKEEPING: Clients always (and I mean always) come home to a clean house. You will not arrive home to housekeeping to do! My guarantees: bed/towels will be stripped and either in the washer/dryer or in hamper if preferred. Dishes will be in the dishwasher running a cycle. Trash/recycling will be taken out. Indoor plants will be watered (please advise if you need outdoor plants watered). Mail/newspaper/packages will be collected and brought inside. *Of course, please advise ahead of time if you do NOT want me to do any of this. 🐾 BATHS: If house-sitting your pet for a week or more, I can give them a bath free of charge :) Just let me know if you want this and please provide the items I will need. As I do not have a death wish, this only applies to dogs ;-P

REQUIREMENTS: 1). Please complete your profiles with pictures, emergency contact info, vet info, daily feeding habits, medications, special needs, and age of your pets. This allows me to give them the most informed, beneficial care. 2). Please share any specific temperament quirks your pets have (for example: hates bikes, doesn’t like curly-haired dogs, will lunge for food on the sidewalk, needs to avoid other dogs when walking, etc.) 3). Please share any unique expectations in regards to the service that are out of the ordinary. I am very happy to provide but I need clarity in advance of what these are.
A typical day
A TYPICAL DAY WITH ME: Timely feedings and pet schedule are followed, including medication if needed, up to 4 long walks, dog park plays (if allowed) or plays in the backyard, fetch, tug, cuddles, hugs, kisses, and naps! I am also a big fan of 'sniff walks,' allowing your pup to lead the way (please let me know if this is not desired). 'Sniff walks' are extremely beneficial for dogs, especially mentally, as they work important areas of their brain and olfactory centers- because of this, it can (and does) often tire out a dog more than a routed walk!

🐾 MY SCHEDULE: I work remotely with a flexible schedule and many of my clients appreciate this for longer stays, flexibility for arrival/departure times, lots of communication, and pictures! 🐾 SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT HOUSE-SITS: I will spend the majority of my time at home with your pet(s), however, I cannot guarantee spending 100% of my time at your residence. At times, I will go to the gym or yoga class, attend an errand, go to dinner, etc. However, I will make sure that I do not spend longer away from home than your pet needs ie. If your dog needs to go out every 4 hours, I will be sure to be home in time.
