Looking for New Canine Friends
I have extensive experience of having dogs over the past 50 years - from British Bulldog to Dalmation to, most recently Weimaraner. I am confident in bonding and handling dogs of all shapes and sizes - from Italian Greyhounds to Dobermans, Pugs to Rottweilers, Poodles to Huskies, and many others, all with their various idiosyncrasies.

Schedule
I am retired at home 95% of the time and was used to the constant company of our beloved Weimaraner Monty until we lost him. I relish the opportunity to share my time with canine friends, I normally take only one dog at a time - but am willing to consider two dog friendly dogs. They will get at least one walk a day and I can send photos if you would like. My wife works but also loves the company of dogs, as does my son who is currently studying at University and my daughters, one of whom has a Staffy of her own in Hampshire

Safety, trust & environment
We have a dog friendly fenced and double gated garden, and various dog walking parks and woods nearby. I am happy to walk your dog alone but am also a member of a friendly dog walking group so your dog will also have the opportunity to socialise with other dogs if that suits.
A typical day
I like to do a walk early in the morning between 06:00 and 09:00, then during the day I will work around the house and play with the dog like scent trailing, and practice some basic training. Then, depending on the dog and the weather we would normally go for another walk in the afternoon, with more indoor games in the evening.
