Responsible & compassionate sitters
Having both grown up with animals, including dogs and cats, we really enjoy their company, and we have a lot of experience in caring for them and their individual needs. We dog-sit for friends and family, which both our dog, Mila, and we enjoy. We've also volunteered at the Barn Sanctuary in Chelsea for several years where we’ve made friends with many of the sanctuary’s residents. Through Rover we have had the opportunity to meet a great variety of pets, which you can see in our photos and reviews. We have a strong record of providing a safe and entertaining space for them, whether sitting them at home, or at outside visits or walks, and we always ensure they are well looked after.

Our dog, Mila, is a super-energetic and friendly Terrier mix. She has gotten along with every dog and cat she’s been acquainted with. We do have a second bedroom in our apt where she can be kept separate from your pet if need be! Our living community has a really convenient fenced-in dog park which is great for fetching and getting their energy out. We also enjoy taking walks at least twice a day in the neighboring residential area.

Lena and Alexander are amazing! This was our second time using them. We had them watch our dog during the day and (with our permission) they took our dog on a beautiful nature walk. I can tell when we drop off/pick up our dog loves being there with them. We always get great pictures and these two have become our go-to rovers.
Lena and Alexander took great care of Ollie! Plenty of walks, outside time, pets, and plays with Mila. Ollie didn't want to leave when I picked him up, which is unprecedented. He looks forward to staying with them again soon!
Wonderful dog sitters! Will be using them as our go-to from here on out. We loved not only getting pictures and updates of our dog but also how active they were with her! These aren’t the types of sitters that just have your dog inside their place all day and just make sure to feed them and let them out- I truly got the feeling they wanted our dog to enjoy her stay and that means a lot! Great communication as well. Thanks Alexander and Lena :)
Lena was great! Even though our kitties only needed to be fed and the litter scooped once a day it's really nice to have someone reliable. Thank you, Lena!
Lena provided lots of updates and pictures during our pet's stay.
Once again, outstanding service, Lena! We continue to feel our pets are in great hands when we're out of town, which really allows us to focus on our trip and not worry.

Dates de la garde
Lena is studying at CCS (College for Creative Studies) in Detroit. Alex is an academic (PhD) currently taking a break from work after 5 years of postdoc research at the University of Michigan. Currently our schedule is very flexible. Alex is available most days and times, and Lena is around at weekends and at least two full days in the week. Between the two of us your pet will be well supervised and be sure to get tons of love and attention🙂
