Pet care experience
I have always had a passion for pets especially dogs. I have had many pets growing up, such as dogs, cats, and even a hedgehog:) I have also been the person to call whenever my family or friends needed help with their pet needs as well! I currently work for a company offering pet care services such as drop-ins, walks, and pet sitting so I am very experienced with all breeds, ages, and different types of animals. I treat each pet as if it was my own and build very strong bonds with them :)

This was my first time using Rover and I was really nervous to try it. We have a senior dog that doesn’t travel well and we usually have people come stay or check in on him, but none of them could do it. I searched Rover for people who had good reviews and repeat customers. Leilani agreed to help last minute and it was much appreciated. She checked on our senior guy twice while we were gone overnight, took care of his diaper, and cleaned up any messes he had. She also fed him. She sent pictures and communicated any problems. It looks like he didn’t want to get out of bed so she brought his food to him for one of the feedings, which was a super sweet way to make sure he got food. We would hire her again.
Addie had a great time with Leilani! She went on many adventures and sent the cutest photos!
Lani is a great dog walker. My 32 pound labradoodle loves her. She is comfortably affectionate with Pippi and even gives her belly rubs which my dog loves. She takes her on great walks on different trails near by in the woods. She lets Pippi get in a whole lot of sniffing - one of her favorite things to do. And she sends me great photos of Pippi enjoying herself, even if she’s smelling rocks! Lani is incredibly reliable in all kinds of weather. Even on the worst days of winter, she was here. Lani is a dedicated dog walker. I am sorry that I no longer need her to walk my aging fur baby. I have regained my strength with months of OT after a devastating fall. Now I can return to walking Pippi full time. Pippi and I will both miss Lani. She will work hard for Rover and will represent you well wherever she goes.

I have a big yard that is fenced on one side and closed in on the other by a line of trees. My neighborhood is quiet and friendly for nice long walks and my house is big enough for indoor play time. And at your house I will follow any instructions given while taking care of your pet or extra household needs.

I am familiar with working with pets with special needs or requests such as medicine and am certified in pet CPR and first aid. I like to get as much info about your pet beforehand and even doing a meet and greet to get to know your pet and schedule is also my usual routine with bookings. I can accommodate last minute bookings if requested as well.
A typical day
Depending on which service you need; whether it is walks, check ins or pet sitting, I love to be outdoors and it is even better to have a furry friend along with me to do fun activities and go on adventures with. Typically, I do a lot of walks during the day including on nature trails or in the woods. Play time is also always important, such as fetch or running around and playing with toys. Even cuddling up on the couch at the end of the day is something I enjoy too.
