Hi, I’m Leanne! I originally joined Rover in 2019, but COVID paused my start — so I’m excited to finally jump in and offer loving, reliable care for your pets in 2026! I’ve surrounded myself with animals my entire life — from dogs and cats to fish, birds, and bunnies. In my early 20s, I volunteered as a Vet Assistant at the SPCA in Calgary, and I’ve long been the “go-to” person for friends needing someone they trust to walk, sit, and care for their beloved pets. We currently have three dogs at home (a Pit Bull mix, a Boxer, and a Mexican mutt!), and there’s often at least one extra dog popping by for a visit or stay. Safe to say, I’m happiest in a house full of wagging tails! 🐾 I completely understand how stressful it can be to leave your pets behind. I promise to treat every single one like my own — with patience, love, and lots of attention. I’m also that person who interrupts conversations just to say hi to an incoming dog! I’ve cared for pets of all ages, from playful puppies to sweet seniors, and I’m mindful of the unique needs at every stage. My goal is to make both you and your pet feel comfortable, confident, and cared for.

I am happy to do house visits, walks, and drop-ins! I understand the importance of trust when someone is entering your home, and I treat every space with respect and care. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority, and I’m happy to provide updates and photos so you have peace of mind while you’re away.
Notes et avis
Leanne has been dog sitting and dog walking for us for many years. We have some boisterous bully breeds who are highly demanding in their routine and personality. They love Leanne and have never had a bad outing and areaways cleaned, brushed and tick-checked after their walks. Leanne takes them out on the local trails and aways keeps them in control; she also does informal training (sitting. retrieval, etc) so they have become much better trained as a result. At times, if cooling enough, Leanne also rusn the dogs on the local trails; if warm, she takes them to some 'secret' dog beaches so they can swim and cool off. Finally, in times of emergency, even at short notice, Leanne has taking our dogs in (one time for 3 weeks !). We recommend Leanne as a dog walker whole heartedly (but hope she doesn't leave walking our dogs ;-). !

Dates de la garde
I’ve worked with children in the school district for over 10 years while raising our family, and now that I have a little extra time, I’m excited to also care for our community’s fur babies. I have flexible availability, and I’m known for being patient, dependable, and calm. Caring for others — whether kids or pets — is truly who I am, and I look forward to sharing that same love and attention with your furry family members.
