I’ll love your pups like my own 🐾

Pet care experience

Dogs have been a part of our hearts and lives for as long as we can remember. My husband began breeding, training, and raising Labrador Retrievers during college, and when he moved here, his beloved Labs came with him. They were cherished members of our family until they passed at the incredible ages of 15 and 17. A year into our relationship, he gave me a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel for Valentine’s Day—and that’s when my love affair with Cavaliers truly began. That special gift opened the door to a lifelong passion for this sweet and gentle breed. We are proud foster parents with the Tennessee chapter of Cavalier Rescue USA, where we welcome dogs from all backgrounds into our home. We care for them, nurture them, and help them transition into the loving “furever” homes they deserve. In addition to fostering, we’ve volunteered with the Nashville Humane Association, participating in their “Doggie Day Out” program, which gives shelter dogs a much-needed break from the stress of kennel life. Taking them out for adventures and social time not only lifts their spirits but helps them connect with potential adopters. We’ve always loved dogs of all breeds, they hold a special place in our hearts, each with their own unique personalities. Over the years, we’ve also helped care for the pets of friends and family while they’re away—whether it’s a weekend trip or a longer vacation. With all this experience and love in our hearts, we thought: why not open our home to others who need trusted, loving care for their dogs? Our dogs are our kids. We cherish every moment with them, and we promise to treat your furbabies with the same love and attention as if they were our own. When your pup is with us, you can rest easy knowing they’re safe, happy, and surrounded by people who truly care.

Leah and Wes were our adopted dog's original foster family. We've traveled a few times since adopting him and have left him in their care while we were away. We know he's super comfortable with them and he gets plenty of love and attention. I am so grateful because I don't have to worry about anything when he's with them.

Leah is warm, kind, gentle and fun. I met her first when we adopted a dog she and her husband were fostering. I instantly wanted both Leah and Wes as friends! They truly have a heart for animals and I would not hesitate to leave my pets with them for a vacation or weekend away. They will love on and treat your dogs as their own personal babies. I feel fortunate to have connected with Leah through adopting a dog and now she and I continue to share dog stories and pictures. I feel strongly if you reach out and connect with her you will instantly feel at ease and comfortable to share your dog with her. It’s important to know her husband is equally as kind and caring. Your dogs will love being with them. The trouble might be in getting your dog to want to go back home after vacation!!

Leah fostered our Charlie before we got him, and we saw how much love she showed him when we first met her. She'd offered to watch him, and we've taken her up on it twice, both for weeklong vacations. We were afraid Charlie wouldn't want to come home because it was obvious how much fun he was having with his old pals, Aubie and Willow. Every day she sent us pictures and we could tell it was like he was going away to summer camp. We felt so comfortable knowing what a loving home he was in and that he was getting as much attention as if we were the ones with him. I highly recommend Leah as a pet sitter.
