Animals have always been a big part of my life. I’ve cared for everything from hamsters, to rescue puppies (helping them recover, rehome, and get their meds on time). I take pet routines seriously because I know how much trust it takes to leave your furry family with someone else.

My best friend has two mountain Bernese dogs, and whenever she travels, I’m the first person she calls. Her dogs know me, love me, and I know their routine, including meds and habits, like the back of my hand. I care for pets like they’re family, and I want them to feel comfortable and safe while their humans are away. That includes making sure your pet is okay with me, first and foremost. We can talk through any special instructions, quirks, or needs ahead of time. I want them to feel good in their space, and for you to feel confident while you’re away. I'm also mindful of instructions because I want your pet to feel at ease with me, so I take my cues from them. If they need time or have specific needs, I'll follow your guidance and adjust accordingly. If anything comes up we will talk it through in advance.

I like to know what helps your pet feel safe and understood. Are there routines, quirks or past experiences I should be aware of? If your dog has strong leash reactions, grooming sensitivities or specific medical needs, that's helpful to know ahead of time. I also appreciate a heads up on how your pet reacts to strangers, new environments, other animals and children. Every detail helps me give them the best care possible. I may not be the best fit for pets with grooming related trauma or high reactivity, but I'm always open to a conversation to see if we click and can work something out.
A typical day
A typical day depends on what your pet enjoys. Some love long walks, others prefer fetch or tug-of-war in the yard. I match their energy and needs. Whether its playtime, puzzle toys, snuggles or sticking to routines that help them feel safe. I focus on keeping things calm, familiar and low stress, especially if your pet needs extra time to warm up or rest. If your pet enjoys being brushed or needs a quick rinse, we can work that in too, as long as they're comfortable with it.

I have a flexible schedule right now, which allows me to adapt to your pet's needs and routine. If anything ever changes, I'll communicate clearly and early because your peace of mind matters to me. Please also note that for the Month of November & December I’m scheduling around personal commitments and will confirm id there’s flexibility in my schedule as dates approach.
