Safety and security is one of the most important parts of pet care. I check for locked doors at every visit. The leash is on before we step outside. I don't engage with neighborhood pets to ensure that your your pup feels safe with me. And while I know that kitties have their own personalities, I am always patient and thoughtful toward their unique needs.

I always want to know your pet's unique needs and preferences. If dinner needs to be at a certain time, or the walk needs to include two pees and a poop, I'll follow your guidance. If your pet is particularly afraid of big noises (fireworks, for example), I'll be sure to keep them occupied in a way that alleviates negative surprises. I look forward to a conversation with you to be sure I know how best to ensure their happiness and calm.

Dogs need connection. We will play, go outside, toss a ball or play with a favorite toy. I'll take my cues from you and give your dog a fun routine. Cats need connection, but in different ways from dogs. Cats want to know I can be trusted. Often, I'll spend time with them in their safe space, with cuddles if they like them, playing with toys, sounds, and treats.

I have taken care of cats and dogs since I was a child - from puppies and kittens to senior furry friends who need a little extra care. I'm happy to make your time away from home worry-free, with walks, feeding, play time and lots of cuddles. I'll take care of your plants and bring in the mail too, making things easy for you to step away. Now that I am retired, I love taking care of cats and dogs! I have the time to offer extra attention, and love it when tails start wagging when I arrive. Let me help you take the worry out of being away!
