🐾 Home Away From Home for Your Pet
Animals have always been a huge part of my life. With over 40 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, senior pets, and animals with special needs, I understand that every pet deserves patience, love, and individualized care. When your pet stays with me, they become part of the family. My husband and I work together to ensure someone is always home with your pet, so your dog will never be left alone during their stay. Your pet will receive companionship, supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of affection throughout the day. I only accept one client’s pets at a time. I believe dogs deserve a safe, stress-free environment, and not every dog is comfortable around unfamiliar animals. By caring for only one family’s pets at a time, I can provide individualized attention and help ensure your pet feels secure, relaxed, and at home during their stay. Whether your dog loves to play, cuddle, nap, or simply relax, I’ll make sure they feel secure, happy, and loved while you’re away. Regular updates and photos are provided so you can relax knowing your pet is in caring hands. My goal is simple: to give your pet the same love, attention, and care that I give my own animals.

Laurie and her husband kept Jake for 17 days and again for 10 days in November 24’ into early December 24’. He enjoys them, gets exercise and is so happy to stay with them.
Jake loved his stay in their friendly home! He exercised and enjoyed his stay. Best did sitter we have utilized!

I’ve never met an animal I didn’t want to take care of. Caring for animals is already a big part of my everyday life. My mornings begin by feeding my cats, taking the dogs outside for their morning potty break, and making sure everyone gets their breakfast, treats, and attention. I also enjoy caring for the wildlife around my home, including feeding the birds and squirrels and making sure any neighborhood animals that stop by are safe and cared for. Throughout the day, pets receive regular potty breaks, playtime, exercise, supervision, and lots of affection. Because I spend most of my time at home, pets are rarely left alone and quickly become part of our daily family routine. Evenings include dinner, outdoor time, cuddles, and relaxing together before bedtime. My goal is for every pet to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and treated like family while they’re in my care.

Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. While I do not have a fenced yard, all dogs are taken outside on leash and are closely supervised at all times. I never rush potty breaks and make sure each pet gets the time they need to feel comfortable. My home is a spacious, pet-friendly 4-bedroom home with plenty of room to relax indoors during Florida’s heat or rainy weather. I have experience caring for senior pets, anxious pets, and animals that need extra patience and attention. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication routines, and any special instructions you provide. I treat every pet as if they were my own and work hard to make them feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away.

A typical day starts with morning potty breaks, breakfast, and plenty of love and attention. Throughout the day, your dog will enjoy supervised outdoor time, playtime, walks if requested, and lots of companionship. My husband and I make sure someone is always home, so your pet is never left alone during their stay. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible because I know consistency helps dogs feel comfortable and secure. Whether your dog enjoys playing, relaxing on the couch, watching the backyard, or simply staying close to people, they will be treated like part of the family. Throughout their stay, I provide updates and photos so you can see how much fun your pet is having. In the evening, we’ll wind down with dinner, potty breaks, cuddles, and a comfortable night’s sleep.
