Pet care experience
I've been house and pet sitting for my parents since high school (7 years), as well as neighbors and family friends for the same amount of time. I can handle large or small dogs with no problem, and some rescue or special dietary/medicinal needs dogs. I've also worked with cats and have practice with dogs and cats in the same home (sneaking into the litter box/eating cat food). I'm pretty active myself, so going on walks or a brisk exercise is a breeze.

Lauren cared for our 2 dogs, 2 cats, yard and home for 2 weeks while we were out of the country. She did a wonderful job caring for the pets and our home. When we arrived home, we found our pets happy, healthy and well cared for. She took pride in caring for our home as well and everything was kept clean and very tidy. She responded to us in a very timely manner when we had questions during our trip. She did all that we asked of her and more. I would highly recommend her and we have her scheduled for another 2 week stay. I can say from experience that the pets loved her as well and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone.
Lauren has house and pet sat for us many times. She is wonderful! She took great care of the dogs and the house and we miss her not living in Bend anymore. She is very sweet and accommodating - she has even offered to come back to Bend for a visit if we needed a dog sitter. I highly recommend her for Rover.

I won't be able to host a pet in my home since there are already two dogs living here. However, I treat other people's home like my own, which is with the utmost respect. Shoes off at the door, cleaning any dishes right away, and making sure all pet messes are taken care of. I can be reached at all times if there's an emergency, and I believe communication is key. If there's a change of plans I'm pretty go with the flow, and if you need a package brought inside or something like that I'm happy to oblige. Just text me!

A typical day
I get enjoyment from playing with animals, I love interacting with them and seeing them happy! I've played hide-and-seek with treats, tug of war, and just running around outside or playing fetch. For cats and dogs, I try to gauge what they want to do, obviously I don't push the animal to do something they don't want to do.

I'm currently working part-time, and my availability does move around sometimes due to my other job. I also take care of my mom's two plot hounds and her two cats currently, so I'm a pro!
