When in the care of my partner and I, pets are enriched and have plenty of opportunity for activity. If your dog enjoys swimming, I can take them to a nearby creek to play. I have a large yard for playing fetch, or just hanging out, and a spunky lab mix that is happy to play tug-o-war. I've always had dogs and cats, and for a short time, pet rats (they're lovely!). I come from a long line of animal lovers and continue that legacy. We are newer to the area and this was our first time needing a dog sitter. Lauren was very responsive and wonderful. She also sends lots of great photos and takes lots of walks. Hopefully she will be available again if and when we need a dog sitter.
Miss Lauren and her family were wonderful regarding the care of little Cognak. She will be my goto sitter whenever I go out of town for work.
Lauren agreed to watch my dog, Haley, last minute and really helped me out. She has a wonderful, clean home, and lovely pets. Lauren kept me updated throughout our time away via photos and messages, which I really appreciated. Haley had an amazing time. I can’t recommend Lauren enough!!
Lauren was willing to take Leo on short notice and she did amazing. She gave me a bunch of pictures of him and kept me updated. Would definitely bring Leo back

I need to know the overall temperament, energy level, and tendency to bark of your dog. Since I work from home, I need to have a relatively quiet space in the event of virtual meetings. Can you dog jump fences? My fences are lower chain link fences. While your dog will be accompanied while outside, I'd like to know tendency to jump fences.
A typical day
I typically take an early morning walk around the neighborhood or at Pony Pastures with my dog. Before the lunch hour, dogs will have a minimum of one yard time outing. During the lunch hour, we typically take a short walk. Dogs will have access to the backyard whenever they like in the afternoon but will have at least one other dedicated backyard in the afternoon.

I have a flexible job that allows me to work from home, so I am flexible with pick-up and drop-off times unless otherwise communicated. I am in RVA most weekends as well.
