Pet care experience
I'm a semi-retired teacher following my passion for pets with this Rover pet-sitting and dog walking side-hustle! I've been an animal lover my whole life and have cared for my own animals and friends' dogs and cats since I was a kid. I've learned quite a bit about dog training the past few years and am a big proponent of positive reward training whether that means treats for a job well done, or pets and lovies, or kind words.

I don't have a home that can accomodate overnights with guest animals at this point, unfortunately. So I will only be able to visit your pet at your home or take him or her out in your neighborhood.

A typical day
I love to take dogs outside for walks and romps in neighborhoods and parks. I also love to play with dogs: with sticks, balls and toys at home or in a yard. It is also great fun to have them show me their trick repertoire and give them treats! For kitties, I love playing with them if they are playful, or giving them pets if they are friendly. I can also provide a warm lap to sit on!

Availability
I have a flexible schedule and am available most times throughout the week and on most weekends. I can do short or long walks with dogs, cat-sitting with treats and play, and dropping in to feed or give your pet attention.
