Pet care experience
I’ve been around dogs, especially large dogs, ever since I can remember. It’s important to me that my dogs are cared for in a certain manner and I treat clients the same. I’ve raised four Rottweilers over the years and truly enjoy their “big dog” love. I’m not easily intimidated and can help calm your dog in what can be a stressful time for them. Whether it’s overnight, walking or just to play and go to the bathroom I hope to make you feel at ease knowing I will be caring for your pet. I’m dependable, skilled and physically fit for whatever your pet care needs are. I carry knowledge from puppy to senior care as well as medication administration. I also have quite a bit of experience with CCL injuries in large dogs and understand the limitations and extra care that they may need assistance with pre/post operatively.

Laura is exceptional with our dog Jack, as if he was her own. She’s punctual, great communication, photo updates, and very trustworthy! We will certainly use her for regular care!
Laura has owned dogs for the past 12-14 years since I’ve known her. She has always taken very good care of them and treated them as if they were actual humans, probably even better. She has always taken the responsibility serious, often times having to go home from work for lunch and let the dogs out to use the bathroom or walk them on her lunch breaks. There is no doubt that she would be well suited to handle most any dog out there, as she’s always been around all kinds of different dogs/pets in general. She is very caring and always is concerned for the well being of really anything around her, this just happens to be for pets.

I prefer to set up a meet and greet to make sure we’re a match and learn how I can best serve you and your pet. Please make me aware of any preferences your dog has as well as your normal routine with them depending on overnight stays, drop-ins or walks. Such as their feeding schedule, any medications, etc. I will always send picture/text updates to you to let you know how the visit/walk went.

If your pet has any fears/triggers please make me aware. Such as nervousness during storms, fireworks, bicycles, cats, other dogs, etc.
A typical day
Upon our meet and greet I would like to see where you normally walk or play with your dog and get the run down of their normal daily routine. Whether it’s their preferred walking trail, if they like to play fetch. It’s best I know how you usually do things together so I can do my best to mimic you for them! If your dog has a special lovey, rope, ball, frisbee or just loves a good belly rub, let me know.

Availability
I’m an active stay-at-home Mom with an open schedule to help you with your overnight care, dog walking and/or drop-in visit needs. I have same day availability most days with a little heads up.
