Pet care experience

🐾 About Us My partner Kevin and I began dog-sitting when we moved to Chafford Hundred in 2024 and have taken care of over 90 dogs since! I previously worked as a primary school teacher and now look after dogs full-time. We love all types of dogs and look forward to welcoming your furry friend to our home :) ⭐️ What Sets Us Apart We are fully insured, DBS checked and qualified! We hold an Ofqual certification in Canine Care, Behaviour and Animal Welfare at Level 3. Dog-sitting is my full-time job, therefore your dog will receive 24/7 attention, exercise adjusted to their energy needs, supervised socialisation with other dogs and recorded daily observations of their routines. We offer a home away from home for dogs of all sizes, from puppies to seniors, and are experienced with different medical conditions and behavioural issues. Above all, we are sitters who genuinely love the animals that we care for and will do everything that we can to give them a holiday of their own! 📸 You can expect regular updates with photos and videos throughout their stay. 🐶 Our Dogs We live with our two Pomsky girls, Nala and Willow. Nala is three years old and Willow is two. We adopted them in August 2025. Our girls are training to be experienced doggy playmates and we'd love to welcome you in to meet them!

Our two dogs stayed with Laura for a long weekend, they both had a great time and we're truly spoilt. Laura kept us up to date with what they were getting up to with lots of pictures, videos and messages. I would highly recommend.

Lovely from the start. My first experience with leaving my dog whilst on holiday and Laura was professional. It was great to meet her before booking. I had absolutely no worries whilst away and I think my dog had a blast with his furry friends. Updates were great and communication excellent :) x

🏡 Our Home We live in a detached 3 bedroom house with a large, bright and sunny, fully-fenced garden in a beautiful green area in Chafford Hundred. We are lucky enough to be right next to Chafford Gorges Nature Reserve where we walk the dogs in our care regularly. We love visiting our very many local parks and surrounding dog-friendly spaces, including a wide-open field only a short walk away. We have no children of our own and dogs are allowed on the furniture. We only ever crate dogs if part of their usual routine and if we are boarding dogs from different families, each will have their own room to sleep in. We are also a 5 minute walk from our local Medivet for peace of mind. 🥎 What We Provide We have everything from bedding to air conditioning for the dogs in our care. We provide puppy pads and have a supply of treats and poo bags too. We keep spare leads and tags with our details on while your dog is staying with us for extra security. We cover all of the essentials (aside from your dog's usual food) including: a variety of toys for different sized dogs, kongs, licki mats, water bowls, a travel bottle, various grooming supplies, a cooling mat and our own doggy first aid kit. Your dog will be kept secure with a safety gate at the front door and will be supervised 24/7 by both us and our pet cameras. Between sits, we clean our house top to bottom for our next doggy guests. We have thought about as many things as possible to ensure that your dog is given top-quality care.

Information Laura P. would like to know about your pet

📆 Our Booking Process We would first love to do a meet & greet to get to know your dog! Meet & greets take place at our house, so that we can see how your dog responds to the environment, they can meet our other dogs, and you can see where they will be staying. 📝 Following this, we have created a Google Form so that you can provide us with everything that we need to know to care for your dog. Questions include: • Is your dog neutered/spayed? • Do they have any medical conditions or allergies? • What is their feeding, walking, medicine, toileting and sleep routine? • Does your dog have any known behavioural issues? • How does your dog respond to other dogs? 🏥 We require that the dogs in our care are vaccinated and up-to-date on their flea and worming treatments. We also ask for your contact details and an emergency contact should we ever be unable to reach you. On our Google Form, you can consent to us taking your dog to the vet should they show signs of being unwell, as well as indicate how you would like your dog to be walked and socialised with other dogs. 🧸 For stays longer than 3 nights, we encourage booking in a trial day prior to boarding to help your dog settle in.

A typical day

🦴 What We Get Up To During The Day Every stay is different! We ask for your dog's daily routine to cater to their needs the way you do at home. We usually go for at least two 20-minute walks a day, or an hour-long walk and play in the park, along with all the fun they have in the garden with us and our other dogs. We love dog photography, and take lots of photos and videos of them in action. We sometimes take them on trips, meet up with our friends with dogs and find dog-friendly cafés too!
