Availability

As pet sitters, our daily routine is relaxed and flexible, centered around our senior dog Irma who sets the pace. We will go on walks and play ball in the garden - she goes into full puppy mode when the ball comes out ! When we're not playing, Irma enjoys chilling on the sofa while we do household chores. In the evening, we love cooking a nice meal and then snuggling up on the sofa to watch TV all together. We're flexible and happy to adapt to whatever routine your dog is used to, whether that means more walks, different playtime, or sticking to their feeding schedule. Your pet will be welcomed into a calm, loving home where they'll feel comfortable and cared for !

Information Laura J. would like to know about your pet

To ensure we provide the best possible care for your furry family member, it's helpful to have a bit of information ahead of time. Here's what we'd love to know about your pet : - daily routine : feeding times, walk schedule, and any specific activities your pet enjoys - behaviour and temperament : how your pet interacts with other animals and people, any quirks or preferences, and whether they have any anxiety or behavioural concerns - health and diet : any medical conditions, medications or dietary restrictions we should be aware of - training and commands : familiarity with basic commands, any special instructions or house rules - emergency info : contact details for your vet and emergency contact Feel free to share anything else that will help us make your pet feel safe, happy and comfortable! We look forward to meeting them !

A typical day

When looking after dogs, we like to take them for a walk shortly after drop-off. This allows them to sniff each other and burn off some energy, helping them settle in. After the walk, we'll head home where they can relax or enjoy games of ball if they still have energy to burn. After lunch, everyone typically feels ready for a nap ! Once everyone is refreshed, we might head out for another walk or have another fun play session, depending on how they're feeling. Our goal is to create a balanced day filled with exercise, play and relaxation so your furry family member feels right at home !

Pet care experience

Hi ! We're Ali and Laura, a pet-loving couple who are passionate about caring for dogs of all ages. Ali works from home most days, so your pet will have plenty of company and supervision. When not at work, we are an active duo who loves outdoor adventures with our girl Irma and enjoy taking long walks no matter the weather. We have experience with puppies and senior dogs alike, and understand the unique care they need. We are also the proud parents of Irma, our 11 year old rescue, a brittany spaniel X red setter with a gentle soul. Irma is friendly with other dogs, she is very patient with excited puppies and loves a nap on the sofa with calmer dogs. She's more than happy to share us with your furry family member, making them feel right at home even away from home. We are flexible with scheduling, so even if our calendar appears blocked, feel free to drop us a message ! We might be able to work something out to accommodate your needs. We can't wait to meet your dog and give them the love and attention they deserve while you go away with your mind at rest !

Laura was a great sitter for Bruce. He’s good natured and loving but is sometimes boisterous as he’s still quite young but laura understood this and provided safe and loving care.

Bruce had a great day with Laura who was very helpful and sent us a couple of pictures during the day. A happy but tired dog at the end of the day!
