There is not a more dedicated animal person than Laura. She has rescued for decades as well as worked/volunteered at a high volume spay neuter clinic, so chaos is not a problem. Dogs, cats even pigs, if it's a critter she'll love on it. She'll be there as needed. I was in the emergency room with a broken wrist and she dropped everything to make sure my dog got outside. It was so comforting to know he was taken care of.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Laura was absolutely amazing with our pups this past weekend! We never once had to worry about them while they were in her care. You can genuinely tell that she cares about what she does and makes sure to treat every pet like they’re her own. Her experience in pet care was one of the main reasons we initially chose to book with her, and after meeting her, it was immediately evident just how knowledgeable and experienced she is. She was so compassionate, understanding, and attentive to each of our dogs’ individual schedules and personalities. She took the time to make sure they were comfortable, happy, and well cared for, (& most importantly loved!) and her communication was great!! Laura was incredibly trustworthy, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. We’re so grateful for the love and care she gave our pups and would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can trust with their pups! Ensuring safety and trust is at the center of how I care for pets. My home has a large, fully fenced yard that provides a secure space for supervised outdoor time. I share my home with three crate‑trained dogs and two friendly, laid‑back cats who enjoy greeting newcomers. I’m attentive to each pet’s comfort level and very experienced in reading behavior, which allows me to adjust interactions and routines to keep everyone feeling safe and relaxed. I take pride in caring for your pet with the same attention, patience, and respect you give them at home. **It’s also important to note that I’m trained and educated in maintaining clinical‑level cleanliness to prevent cross‑contamination. I follow strict hygiene practices to keep all pets safe, healthy, and protected during their stay.

A typical day
A typical day in my home is relaxed, structured, and full of enrichment. Dogs start their morning with fresh air and exploration in my large fenced yard, followed by plenty of companionship from me and my friendly, well‑mannered pets. Throughout the day, they enjoy supervised play, mental stimulation, cozy downtime, and lots of positive interaction while I work from home. Every dog settles into a comfortable rhythm here, feeling safe, engaged, and genuinely cared for — like a second home. There will be lots of toys and treats to boot.

I like to know their daily routine, energy level, and any quirks or behaviors that help me understand how they communicate. Information about feeding schedules, medications, allergies, and crate habits is especially important. I also appreciate knowing how they interact with other dogs and cats, what comforts them, and anything that might make them anxious. The more I know ahead of time, the more I can tailor their care so they feel right at home.
