I am currently fully flexible with no commitments other than my bookings with this being my only job. I can solely focus on your furry friends at all times and accept same day bookings if you are in urgent need of someone :) Sometimes bookings may overlap but very rarely. If this does happen I always keep good communication with everyone involved. I would ensure all the pets involved had all their basic needs attended to also.

I always ask the owners what the routine of the animal/s is/are and how the household normally runs on a normal day such as breakfast; dinnertime; medical history; emergency contacts; walkies; any rules or commands owners wish for me to follow through with that they may wish to be continued whilst away and how often they are allowed treats which would ideally all be done at a meet and greet prior to the booking unless they are a returning pet owner. I like to book with the owner at the meet and greet to ensure everyone is happy with everything, and any questions have been answered and pet owners are put at ease as it's not easy leaving a pet with someone they're not familiar with. I also ensure a care plan is set in place. I ensure I have all the information I need about all the pets I am taking care of. I base a schedule around that so when the pet is in a happy mood I will play with them and give them lots of attention; if they're looking like they want to relax I'll talk to them give them a stroke and leave them be, as we don't always want someone in our space!

Please let me know if your pets have any types of special needs; anxiety or certain triggers so I can ensure they have a pleasant time and avoid any situations they are not comfortable with. Also any allergies; intolerances or medications that need to be administered and all their likes and dislikes. We will set up a care plan and go through questions and everything I need to know at the meet and greet. And I will ensure you and your pets are happy with the service you and your pets will be receiving.
A typical day
I love to stimulate pets mentally and physically and I would do this by playing with them and talking to them. With dogs for example it would be things like going for a walk and playing fetch or just taking a walk in the park so they can experience some different smells. With cats for example it would be getting their favourite toys and playing with them and giving them some cuddles. With small animals it would be getting them out of their cage so they can have a nice run around with some different toys to stimulate them and having some cuddle time so they're not just stuck in their cage all day.

I have 18 years experience of pet care looking after cats, dogs and small furry animals. (I do take small animals into my care and services, if interested please message me, this service can also be included along with your cat or dog booking). I am very passionate about what I do, and I treat every pet in my care as if they were my own. This is my sole job so I am fully available Monday-Sundays and I am very flexible and reliable. I am fully DBS checked and can administer medication. I have a passion for all animals and they give me so much joy with all the love they have to give and it would be such a privilege to be able to look after your furry friends. I am able to provide the following services: Drop In Services (2 different families wanting twice a day or 4 different families wanting once a day) House Sitting In The Owner's Home (Sleep Ins) Doggy/ Cat Day Care In The Owners Home (Daytimes) Doggy/ Cat Day Care In The Owner's Home (Evenings/Nights, I'm available until any time) Dog Walking (2 different families per day) Multiple Pet Sitting (Visiting more than 1 family per day) Small Animal Only Sitting (I am also available for this service at my own home for boarding also, so please message with any questions as I know this isn't available on the website or app and we can arrange it). Within these services I provide and ensure: - Feeding/treats/fresh water - Walking -Letting outside - Playing/plenty of attention and cuddles - Medication administration - Vet appointments If needed - Cleaning of gardens/litter trays/small animal cages - Daily updates and photos of your pets - Meet and greets before bookings - Ensuring all healthcare plans and schedules are in place before the owner leaves their pet/s with me, which I built up after a meet and greet and ensure all information and instructions are correct. - If I have any concerns or issues I will contact the owner Any services that aren't listed on the rover app please don't hesitate to reach out as I'm sure we can still come to an arrangement and I'm also always willing to negotiate prices and services where possible 😀

Laura is honestly amazing at what she does, I've never felt so safe leaving my pet with someone that I previously had no relationship with. She ensured from the start that I felt comfortable and secure and has continued this care throughout. Every daily update and photos have put my mind at ease that my baby has been taken care off and she always goes the extra mile to ensure he is happy. For example cleaning his bowls every day and bringing spare bowls so she can leave extra food for him without piling it all into one bowl. She even went out and bought him more of the food he likes as he had run out and wasn't as keen on the other brand I had left for her. It's these extra little moments of care that truly make her amazing and I cannot express how grateful I am. 10/10 definitely recommend- thankyou so much for everything!
