I have been around animals for over 10+ years and I have two cats and a fish at home. Animals have been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I have recently worked at Davis Farmland in Sterling MA this past fall and worked with a variety of animals from holding goats to working with ponies. In between the last time I have been dog sitting/housesitting I have been taking care of my pets and house sitting for my in laws when they go away and take care of their cat as well usually for about a week. We also have a fb page called Laura and Phils pet care where you can see photos of our own pets. We use it to get people's attention, for people to contact us and to spread the word about our business!

My name is Laura and I am super excited to meet you and your lovely pup/pups or kitties!! Since a child I grew up around animals, and as a kitty mom I know how important your fur babies are to you! I hope you can put your trust in me and believe me when I say your fur babies health and safety will always be my number 1 priority!! I am also available for pet-sitting while you and your family are away on vacation!! I have 10+ years in this area and I can see how important the bond is between a family and there pets. I can't wait to love, care for, play with and cuddle your furr babies! I am currently pursuing a masters in an animal related field and have two cats and a fish at home so I am very familiar with caring for pets throughout the day. I have specific feeding times and ways of how to feed/care for each pet. Every pet is different, and it is important to realize that. I have experience giving medication when needed and go above and beyond for your pets. I have great time management skills which has helped greatly with this profession.

A typical day
Fun is my middle name so of course we will do all sort of fun activities. These may consist of playing a bunch of games, going for long walks in the neighborhood while interacting with other dogs and visit a nearby park :) while being occupied with a frisbee or ball. Maybe chasing a squirrel or two, but not taking them home! I will also make sure to clean up after myself while going to the bathroom and throw it out. Having good hygiene is important.
