Pet care experience

My family got a pair of kittens when I was young, and our first dog when I was 9. I was in charge of giving her food and water, brushing and eventually even clipping her nails. Now we have 2 dogs and a cat, and I still feed and brush them. I was also in charge of house training Teddy when he was a puppy. Relaxing and snuggling with my little dog Kovi is one of my favorite things in the world.

Safety, trust & environment

Our pets are allowed on most furniture, and are given love and attention almost every time I lay eyes on them. We have a large yard for the dogs to run around, and even the cat is allowed outside on a leash for some fresh air. I love just relaxing with a furry (or feathered or scaled) friend and letting them feel the love.

Information Larissa C. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your pet has any sensitivities to smells, food, or behaviors. If there is something specific that could make the pet nervous, defensive, or aggressive I want to avoid that for the animal's comfort. For instance, my cat Nugget does not like people getting close to her face.

A typical day

I prefer to walk dogs first thing in the morning or late at evening, when it isn't so hot out and the pavement won't burn their paws. I try to let the dog set the pace: leisurely to smell everything, brisk to get our blood moving, or a even a short sprint to burn off extra energy.
