Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10. I used to volunteer at my local animal shelter, walk the dogs and clean the kennels. In 2013, I rescued a pitbull puppy named Jackson. Jackson grew to be 75 pounds and was sweetest and most loyal boy who unfortunately got sick and passed in Sept 2021. In March 2022, I rescued a puppy named Chase who is extremely social, sweet, loves dogs and people. Unless your dog is not social (which is totally fine, just please tell me in advance), I will most likely have Chase with me when walking them. If your dog is staying with me overnight, Chase will be there :). Chase is now 2 years old and loves to play, so if your dog is with me during the day or overnight, he or she will come back tired from playing! I am open to doing a meet and greet before booking.

We had such a great experience with Lara! She updated us throughout the day with photos/videos of Josie and also took the time after pickup to talk about their day/her observations. Josie had such a great time. Usually, she can’t wait to go back home after a long day at daycare, but she was so sad when she had to leave Lara’s and is now fast asleep from all the play she had over there! We would 100% recommend Lara!
Lara was so sweet and great with my dog. Sent regular updates and was accommodating to our schedule. Definitely planning on having my pup stay with her again!

I create a safe environment for dogs in my apartment. If I leave, I have a Furbo camera so I can keep an eye. I also have a large crate in the event your dog needs to be crated. There is always water left out and a huge basket of dog toys. I am always usually home to monitor and make sure the dogs are safe and happy.

I work full time remotely as a recruiter for a tech company. Being home all day, I have the flexibility to walk dogs and step out when needed. I create my schedule for the most part and am happy to work with yours!
