I currently overnight pet sit a 14 year old golden retriever named Karma and 4 year old rescue cat Maui, Karma has to be medicated by hand everyday so I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty. Maui is a cross eyed skittish kitty that doesn’t trust most people but wasn’t a problem for me. I go at their pace until I have their full trust in me.

I’ve taken care of most every kind of critter, starting at 5 years old taking care of baby sugar gliders and a Pomeranian puppy at the same time! I’ve have never been short of an animal in my home owning dogs, cats, fish, birds, snakes, lizards and many insects.

Lalo took exceptional care of my cat while we were away, and I couldn’t be more grateful. From the start, he was reliable, communicative, and clearly experienced with animals. He made sure all of their needs were met—feeding, litter, and giving them attention and comfort so they didn’t feel stressed while we were gone. I especially appreciated the updates and peace of mind he provided throughout our trip. It was clear our cat was in good hands, and we came home to a happy, well-cared-for pet. I would absolutely trust Lalo again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dependable and caring pet sitter.
Recently, my husband and I traveled to Canada for our anniversary, and we entrusted Lalo with staying in our home to look after our 16-year-old dog, Sookie. Caring for an elderly pet requires a special level of patience and attentiveness, and Lalo handled the responsibility with impressive maturity especially as she wasn't at all happy with his presence. Our dog can be quite particular and very grumpy now due to her age and loss of hearing; however, Lalo remained consistently kind, calm, and dedicated to ensuring her comfort throughout our time away. Beyond his natural affinity for animals, Lalo proved to be a trustworthy and respectful houseguest. He was incredibly reliable, communicative, and left our home in excellent condition. It provided us with immense peace of mind to know that our home and our elderly dog were in such capable hands, and we returned to find everything well-cared for. I would not hesitate to recommend Lalo for any position or responsibility that requires integrity, empathy, and a strong work ethic. He is a young man of high character, and he would be a valuable asset to any environment. Highly recommend!
We are extremely picky when it comes to a pet sitter. Lalo has been our pet sitter multiple times. He arrives as asked and stays the asked amount of time. We trust him with our two babies. One dog and one cat. Our cat does not accept strangers easily. Lalo took his time to allow trust to build. Now Maui loves him. Lalo is a kind and loving human.
