Just a genuine love for animals :3
Pet care experience
I don't currently have any pets of my own, but I volunteer at the humane society for southwest Washington and therefore have gone through training regarding dog and cat behavior and handling. I have only cared for neighbor's pets before, and although my experience isn't necessarily extensive, I believe, and have been told, that my care meets and exceeds the standard, so you can rest assured that your pet(s) will be taken care of. I have had a true love for all animals my whole life (ask anyone who knows me!) and will do what it takes to keep your pet safe and happy.
Reviews

Laila was amazing with our 3 fur babies. Both of our dogs are in love with her and very content when we came home. Our cat, Willlow, was recovering from being sick. Laila kept a good eye on her and I feel her calm demeanor helped Willow feel better. Thank you for taking such good care of our furry kids.
I have know Laila R. for many years. She has taken care of my three dogs on multiple occasions. Laila is always kind, patient, and loving to my dogs. I trust her and have given her full access to my house to enter and let my dogs out to potty, spend time with them, and see to any needs they might have. Laila communicates well and if she has any questions will ask. She loves my dogs and I trust her implicitly.

Safety, trust & environment
I will make sure your pet(s) are safe and happy by being aware of essential safety items (e.g. fire extinguisher, fences/gates inside or outside, potentially dangerous items, etc.) providing enrichment through provided means and individual creativity based on the animal's needs, and just obeying the owner's wishes. I understand that your pet's safety is your top priority.
Information Laila R. would like to know about your pet
Almost nothing will deter me from taking care of your pet, just let me know of any safety concerns, notable habits, any kind of reactivity, triggers, or things that hold the highest value to them (treats, toys, affection, etc!)
A typical day
Definitely feel it out and do what feels right for each particular dog. Whether that means going for a high-energy run or something with lots of stimulation, or a more relaxed day that is still exciting to them, like going to a new area for the first time, but focusing on not overwhelming them. Or in the home, lots of play time, or maybe a nap! Regardless of the activity, lots of affection. I absolutely love animals with my whole heart and even if they are shy I think that verbal affection is still important. One of my main goals is to make sure your pet feels loved.

Availability
I am currently looking for another job, as my current one reduced my hours to one day a week (4 hours every Sunday morning, but I'm still available the rest of the day!), but pet care is important to me as well as your pet and I will work around my job. I can make it fit!
