A lot of things have changed in the world these past few years. I am so thankful to all my clients for allowing me to turn this from part time into full time work. Now I am able to spend the whole day at home with all our guests and my son. My father and I work together to ensure all our fur guests are loved and cared for all day and that your family members are never left alone.

Your furry family member will be treated as one of the pack around here with constant love and attention. We have very strict safety protocols for introducing new members to the pack as well as plenty of space to give those that don't get along their own free space.

Please let me know if there have ever been aggressive tendencies in your loved one. I promise it is not a deal breaker but my job is to keep everyone safe, and nervous or apprehensive dogs need an extra layer of care and caution. We will also go over their health history and any medications your loved one may need. PLEASE NOTE - Your loved ones must be current on the following vaccines: Rabies Da2PPL/DHLPP Bordetella * I know there are many different combinations and names and it can be confusing as to which your pet may have. We do require a copy or photo of the records and I will review them to make sure your pups are all set. Almost all vets will email you a copy of their records if you can't find or don't have access to hard copies. :)

We can match your pets activity level pretty well here. We have our own hiking loop on the property and a solid safe trail around the neighborhood (a smidgen less than a mile.) A large section of our yard is fenced in to enjoy lots of running, jumping, and playing fetch. If your four legged friends need calm and comfortable no worries, we have plenty of cozy beds and couches that come with free snuggles.

If I could I would own a farm and just spend my life taking care of refugee dogs. I have a nice sized home with a large piece of land perfect for playing fetch and exploring. I'm almost always available and would love to spend my days hanging out with furry friends. My son loves to play and is very friendly, safe, and respectful to all four legged creatures. I have a SUV that I don't mind using if I need to transport your 4 legged family members for any reason. We have 1 small dogs on the property, a 15 year old, one eyed chihuahua/terrier. This started out as a fun way to earn a little extra money for my son and I, and has since blossomed into a full time wonderful experience. Thank all of you for giving my family the ability to spend our days doing what we love! PLEASE NOTE: I am no longer taking new drop in, dog walking, and house sitting clients. For any services I no longer provide I highly recommend Elizabeth L, who has a profile here on Rover. https://www.rover.com/sit/elizal74523 She is terrific and my clients have had nothing but great things to say about her. Your furry family members will be in great hands with her.

Lacey was wonderful with my dog! He was comfortable right from the start and she took lots of pics of him socializing and playing with toys. He had a safe, happy day and I would wholeheartedly recommend her. Four paws up!

Our dogs love Lacey! Being able to come to Joshua Tree with our dogs is fun, but it’s also great to have the option to have a day where we can hit the shops, sit down and an indoor restaurant, and do some dog-free activities. Lacey has been our repeat sitter for our Joshua Tree trips and our dogs love her yard and how she treats them like we do at home. One of our dogs takes fluoxetine and the other has anxiety as well and both are fine there- I also don’t feel anxious leaving the dogs with Lacey which says a lot (pet parents of anxiety dogs will get what I mean)! There is so much space for the dogs to play both indoors and out, and she has a double fence situation so even our little escape artists can’t get out. We highly recommend Lacey if you need a day sitting or overnight sitting- she will treat your dogs like you do and they’ll be so happy to have a fun day outside playing with the other dogs who love her house as well :) also worth noting that both times our dogs have been there they had other friends to play with, which is wonderful and helps them socialize !
Lost count of how many times Hildi has stayed with Lacey now. Will be back soon!
