Availability
My schedule is somewhat flexible—I can usually adjust my start time to accommodate your pet’s needs, as long as I'm able to be away from the home during my work shift. Being an active person, you can count on me for long walks, fetch sessions, or cozy cuddle time on the couch. I bring a brain full of enrichment ideas for high-energy pups and plenty of patience and calm for pets with anxiety. I aim to make every pet feel safe, stimulated, and loved—no matter their personality!

Safety, trust & environment
At this time, I’m not able to care for dogs in my own home, but I’m fully committed to providing attentive, reliable care in your home. I’m comfortable walking dogs using a variety of leads and harnesses, and I have experience handling leash-reactive dogs with care and confidence. I’m always alert and proactive when it comes to avoiding unsafe situations. Whether I’m in your home or out on a walk, I’m detail-oriented and focused on creating a safe, secure environment where your pet feels comfortable and well-cared for.
Information Kyrie B. would like to know about your pet
Before agreeing to a sit, I like to know the basics of your pet’s daily routine, temperament, and any special needs—whether that’s medical, behavioral, or dietary. It's helpful to know how they react to other animals, people, and new environments, especially on walks. I also like to learn about their favorite activities, any fears or triggers they may have, and how they prefer to be comforted. The more I know up front, the better I can provide personalized, stress-free care that keeps your pet feeling safe and loved while you're away.
A typical day
I love truly engaging with pets—not just being around them, but interacting in ways that are fun and meaningful for them. With dogs, I enjoy incorporating mental stimulation through basic (or advanced) commands, as well as playing scent games and other enrichment activities to keep their minds and bodies active. For cats, I let them set the pace—whether it’s cozy cuddle time or chasing feathers, lasers, or favorite toys, I’m happy to match their energy. I'm also open and eager to learn about enrichment activities for other species I may not be as familiar with. Whether it’s a rabbit, reptile, or bird, I’m always willing to follow your guidance and explore new ways to keep your pet happy and engaged.

Pet care experience
Hi, I'm Kyrie! From helping puppies with potty training to giving medications and teaching dogs to walk calmly on a harness, I’ve dabbled in a bit of everything! I’ve gained years of hands-on experience caring for pets and homes for friends and family. I treat each home with the same respect and care as my own—and every pet like they’re part of the family. I’m comfortable caring for a wide variety of animals—not just dogs and cats, but also small pets, reptiles, and more (just no large farm animals). Whether your pet is playful, shy, energetic, or easygoing, I’m happy to tailor my care to their unique needs. I do work full-time for King County Parks and Recreation. My work is based in Renton, but my schedule offers some flexibility with start and end times. I make it a priority to ensure your pets receive consistent, loving attention, and their needs are met. I can’t wait to meet your furry (or feathery, or scaly) family members!

Reviews
I am writing this testimonial on behalf of my favorite dog sitter. I have known Kyrie several years. I knew her long before I asked her if she would be interested in dog sitting for us when our dog sitter fell through and we were going out of town. Fortunately, she was able to help us out and it was the most relaxed I have ever felt on a vacation. She asked all the important questions like feeding schedule, sleep patterns, dog "house" rules, how Simon "communicated" so she would know what he needed. I felt like we were leaving a toddler with her (not a dog). She came over to "meet" Simon just to make sure it was a good fit. He IMMEDIATELY took to her, no hesitation. He is a shy with some people but, acted like he had known her for years. Kyrie is also very respectful when dog sitting in a home. She brings her own food, linens and leaves everything tidy. I trust her with my home and my dog! I did not have a single worry while she was dog/house sitting. She is an amazing human and an amazing animal sitter. I give her 11/10 stars!
Kryie is our go-to dog sitter! Kryie goes out of our way to make sure that not only is our pup is well cared for but that she feels loved as well. Kyrie has watched our pup both at our place and hers and both arrangements have worked out great. She often takes our pup on hikes (we communicate about which would be a good fit) and sends lots of photos. It's so reassuring to know that our pup is relaxed and enjoying herself while we are away!
I’ve used Kyrie multiple times now, and I honestly can’t recommend her highly enough. She’s not only incredibly dependable and communicative — she truly loves my dogs like they are her own. One of the things I love most is that, with my permission, she takes my dogs on little adventures — hikes, outings, and walks beyond the usual neighborhood route. They come home happy, tired, and clearly enriched from the experience. It’s such a gift to know they’re getting both excellent care and extra joy while I’m away. Kyrie always keeps me updated with messages and photos, and my dogs are relaxed and content when I return. I fully trust her in my home and with my pets, and it’s clear they adore her too. She’s my go-to sitter and an absolute gem on Rover! — Cindy
Kyrie is amazing with my dogs, she genuinely loves them and they are so excited to see her every time! She is trustworthy and a joy to have around!
