I am writing this as Korina’s mother, but also as someone who has witnessed her natural bond with animals since she was born. From a very young age, animals have gravitated toward her. She grew up surrounded by cats and formed unusually deep connections with them. Calm, patient, and attentive. I often joke that she is a “cat whisperer,” because animals immediately relax in her presence. As a young adult, she now cares for her own cat, Milo, who is missing a leg, a tail, and a toe. Korina has adapted his environment to meet his needs and takes exceptional care of his health and emotional wellbeing. She is attentive, responsible, and understands how important routine and safety are. She has also cared for smaller, fragile pets (including a hamster who lived a full, healthy life), and she treats every animal, large or small, with gentleness and respect. What stands out most is her instinct to protect. If she sees an animal in need, she does not hesitate to help. Animals trust her quickly because she approaches them calmly and confidently. She follows instructions carefully and respects feeding schedules, medication needs, and household rules. I would trust her completely with any pet I love. Korina understands that pets are family members. She approaches their care with seriousness, affection, and reliability. Any pet in her care will be safe, respected, and genuinely loved. Kyriaki was born and raised among cats. We always had cats in the house -and outside- and Kyriaki had always a natural "cat wisperer" touch. She loves them and they sure love her.

Kyriaki watched over Maya, my senior Chihuahua, for a few days while I was on holiday. She kept her company, took her on walks and made sure to overfeed her. Kyriaki also updated me and sent photos of Maya throughout. I know Korina grew up with cats, and currently has a three-legged rescue, Milo, which I have had the pleasure of meeting.
