I currently stay at home full time and can dedicate all my time as needed to our furry guests. They are my number one focus! Typical day can be waking up early (between 4am and 6am to let out and feed), all the fun stuff in between and bedtime is around 8pm due to my significant others schedule.

~~~~READ BEFORE BOOKING~~~~**** Holiday Rates apply to National Holidays, Winter Break and Spring Break due to the high demand. Repeat guests are taken before new guests, so inquire early. Please provide this information when making a request unless it's in your profile: What breed, size, age is your dog? If the dog is under a year old has the puppy been through basic obedience? If so, where? Does your dog get along with other dogs? Does your dog have a tendency to bark? This includes if left loose or crated. What do you do to remedy the barking? Does your dog have any anxiety or fearful behaviors? Does your dog have medical issues or concerns that require additional attention? For example, medication, longer meal preparation, spray for skin issues or anything that needs to be disclosed prior to making a confirmed reservation? (A meet and greet is required if a dog requires any of this extra attention, so please inform me of any or all health issues a dog may have at the time of making a reservation) Estimated Drop off and pick up times: Emergency contact information: Vet information including vaccinations:**** I will need a copy of your dogs vaccination records from your veterinarian. Rabies, distemper, parvovirus and bordetella. Bordetella must have been given no more than six months and no less than two weeks prior to your dog’s arrival. Some exceptions made; please inquire if you have questions. ~~~please note ~~~ From April to November **** (Anytime weather is above 40 degrees fleas and ticks can be alive) I do not have fleas or ticks in my house and that is because I watch where my dogs interact. Please give flea medication one week prior to their arrival. If a dog arrives at my house with fleas I will ask that they need to find other arrangements. I cannot afford to have my show dogs or my dogs I am watching get fleas. Some exceptions made; please inquire if you have questions. Food, medications and the amount per feeding. This includes does your dog eat once or twice a day? Is your dog crate trained? I am home 24/7, but there are times that I do need to leave my house for short time periods. In addition, it is helpful to know if your dog respects crates or displays other behaviors, for example, barking, scratching or digging while in a crate.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks: If the dog is used to a walk and weather permits a walk outdoors I will absolutely take walks. (Add on fee when you want your dog to have that extra exercise. I have amazing trails near my house and over half my stays add walks. Check out the pictures to see where the dogs take walks) Energy of my house: Very low energy and I create a calming atmosphere. I do not accept high energy dogs or dogs that are obsessive barkers due to living in town. Your dog's sleeping arrangement: All depends on what is normal at home for each dog. Some dogs sleep on the couches or some feel comfortable sleeping in my bedroom. Otherwise, if they are young and need to be crated I have oversized crates and ex-pens set up in my kitchen. Only dogs that can handle these situations will be accepted. Dogs that bark will not be allowed back, so please be honest. I have to respect my significant other work schedule and at night time the home needs to be quiet. We love dogs and having several here, but at bedtime we require it to be quiet. Time I'll spend with your dog: I am home 24/7 and the dogs I watch I consider my kids. My entire day and night is devoted to the dogs.
Pawcation Retreat
Pet care experience
Welcome to your furry friends pawcation retreat in Eagle, WI. Pet sitting, grooming and showing dogs is my full time passion (can't say job because I love what I do) not just extra income. I take every furry guest seriously and treat them like my own. My home is a retreat for your dog to feel comfortable, safe, relaxed all while enjoying the joys of being in a dog friendly home. I have been caring and showing dogs for over 30 years. My home has a large 6’ high fenced in area with doggie windows for potty breaks. I always go outside with them to supervise as it's just the routine that I do with my own dogs. I only cater to a few dogs at a time and that allows more attention for our furry friends. They can hang out with our resident Field Spaniel furkids, Starlet, Russell, KC and Trixie. Some dogs are quick to play and explore, while some dogs are shy and require more attention. I love all dogs and adapt my approach to your dog’s personality. If you see I am not available for certain dates, but still want service if I can rearrange I try to accommodate. In some examples of accommodation it has turned from pet sitting needs in the sitters home into me traveling to your house instead. ~~~ Check out my review stay photos to have a glimpse of the spoiling that your dog(s) will receive in my care. ~~~ In addition, I match the activities to each furry guest while they are boarding and that includes pets with special needs. Each day or overnights may include dog walks, car rides, playing fetch and simply being a house dog lounging on the couch. Additional services offered include pampering in the doggie spa or focusing on dog training sessions. Think of our home as a pet friendly home for pet sitting and dog grooming. We want all the dogs to feel as if they are home while you are away having fun. Dogs that work well in my home: I do not accept high energy dogs or dogs that are too large to handle. I prefer dogs that are calmer and dogs that can be left loose and do not mark on furniture. Please be honest when making a doggie overnight reservation. I understand dog behavior and know what works well with my own dogs. About my yard: 6’ high fenced yard with doggie windows for the dogs to see outside the yard. (Please note some of the photos seen are from an older house and not my newer resident in Eagle, Wi) Why I love dog sitting: I have been caring for dogs for over 30 years. My house and energy is very calming. My house is a retreat for dogs while the parents are away on vacations. I look forward to having your furkid(s) stay with me soon! Sincerely, Kylie
Reviews
Kylie is so nice and naturally good with my dog since their first meet up. She is wonderful at communication and it was nice to travel with a peace of mind. I will definitely be asking Kylie to take care of my dog again in the future!
We recommend Kylie for boarding dogs with the highest marks. Our dog, Duke, an 8 1/2 year-old male coonhound mix rescue, was thoughtfully cared for at her home. Kylie kept us informed regularly with comments on his progress along with photos. We would not hesitate to book with her again!
Kylie was very responsive and I felt confident leaving my little pup Willow with her and her dogs. She assured me that Willow was adjusting well to her week long stay. Provided updates when asked.
Kylie was super accommodating to helping my girls adjust and feel comfortable. She sent pictures and videos throughout their stay. I felt very comfortable with the dogs in her care and would definitely use her again💕
