I've been surrounded by animals my entire life and have experience caring for a variety of pets, from dogs and cats to rabbits and birds. Growing up, I had two Labradors, Nemo and Bruce, and my nan also bred Labradors, which gave me valuable experience with dogs of different ages, personalities, and needs. I currently have a 7 year old Shih-poo called Luna. Last year, she suffered a spinal injury, which is unfortunately quite common in her breed. Supporting her through a strict three month recovery programme and medication plan required patience, consistency, and attentive care. Thanks to this, we were able to avoid surgery, and she is now back to being a happy and healthy pooch. This experience also gave me firsthand understanding of the extra care, gentle handling, and attention some dogs may need during recovery or later in life. I am regularly trusted by family and friends to care for their pets while they are away. I treat every pet as if they were my own, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for. Whether it's walks, playtime, cuddles, or sticking to their usual routine, I take the time to make sure each pet receives the attention they deserve. What sets me apart is my genuine passion for animals and my commitment to providing the highest standard of care. I understand that leaving your pet with someone else requires trust, and I will always provide the same level of care, affection, and attention that I give to Luna (and she is one pampered pooch!). While I don't have professional pet care qualifications, I have a lifetime of hands on experience with animals and pride myself on being reliable, caring, and trustworthy.
