Pet care is just part of my normal routine. I have a dog and a bearded dragon, so every day I make sure my dog gets fed, let out , she has a electric collar so she knows where not to go , and has some playtime, and I take care of my bearded dragon, feeding and tank setup. On the days I work Friday through Monday, i also take my bearded dragon out on my lunch and feed him, I plan ahead so they’re taken care of before I leave and when I get home. It’s something I stay pretty consistent with.

In a client’s home, I follow the instructions they provide closely,making sure pets are fed on time, walked or exercised, given attention, and that their living space stays clean and safe. I also make sure pets feel comfortable and cared for while their owner is away!

A typical day
I like to keep pets both physically and mentally stimulated depending on their personality and needs. With dogs, I enjoy doing things like walks, playing fetch or tug, and giving them time to explore outside. I also like doing enrichment activities such as treat puzzles or basic training games to keep their minds active. For reptiles like my bearded dragon, I focus more on safe exploration time outside the enclosure, gentle handling, and making sure their environment stays enriching and comfortable. I always pay attention to each pet’s energy level and preferences so they’re having fun while still feeling safe and relaxed.
