I recently retired from working in a school as an occupational therapy practitioner. I have been involved with animals my entire life and have experience caring for them throughout their lifespan. I have a passion for service and animals! I volunteered for McHenry County's Animal Outreach Humane Society as a kitty exerciser which I loved! I have been through multiple dog training classes with my own pets and practice positive reinforcement. I currently do drop in visits for neighbors'and friends' pets and have administered medication when it is needed. I have experience walking various sizes and breeds of dogs and understand that they each have unique qualities and individual needs.

5-Star Dog Sitting Experience with Krystal H and her Husband! We recently had the pleasure of having Krystal H. watch our two 1-year-old rescue pups, Diamond and Pearl, for a 24-hour stay — and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. My wife was initially very nervous about leaving our dogs with anyone, but after a warm and reassuring meet-and-greet with Krystal, her worries quickly faded. Krystal’s kind and gentle disposition immediately put both us and the dogs at ease. Throughout the stay, Krystal kept us updated with plenty of photos and messages, which meant the world to us. It was clear our girls were being treated like part of the family. She and her husband went above and beyond, even spending time sitting with Diamond and Pearl on their laps watching TV — just like we do at home. We honestly can't say enough good things about Krystal H. and her husband. They made our dogs feel safe, loved, and completely at home. We are beyond grateful and will absolutely be using them again in the future!

A typical day
I will give your pet a lot of positive interactions and energetic walks! If they are high energy we will take brisk walks with time allowed to sniff along the way. We will play, run in a safe fenced area or cuddle. I will water and feed them and scoop litter boxes too.
