Availability
Pet care is a full-time part of my lifestyle — I’m not working outside the home, so I’m highly available and give pets consistent attention throughout the day. I’m great with short-notice bookings and usually respond within minutes. I keep my calendar open a couple months at a time to stay flexible, but I’m happy to book further out — especially after a meet & greet. I also have a trusted backup (my husband, a fellow pet lover and Rover sitter) in case I’m traveling, so your pet always has reliable care.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety is my top priority. With a background in both the medical field and military, I stay calm and focused in any situation — whether it’s handling an unexpected mess, reacting to a sudden issue, or just making sure everything runs smoothly. I’m confident administering medication (oral or injectable, if needed), but I focus most on creating a safe, loving, and structured environment so your pet feels secure. I follow your instructions carefully, keep your home clean and respected, and treat every animal with the same care I’d give my own.
Information Krysta C. would like to know about your pet
I’m open to all breeds, sizes, species, and personalities — from the chill to the chaotic. To give your pet the best care possible, please share anything I should know ahead of time: • Allergies or medical needs • Quirks or triggers (like doorbells, other pets, or vacuum vendettas) • Feeding, potty, or nap routines • Reactions to strangers, crates, or alone time The more I know, the more I can keep your pet safe, happy, and stress-free. Medical & Specialized Care: I’m comfortable with basic routines like oral meds and supplements. For more complex needs — such as upright feeding, injections, or frequent cleanup — I’ll provide a custom care rate based on your pet’s routine. Behavioral & Safety Add-On: Some pets come with a little extra fire in their personality — that’s okay, but it does affect the care plan. To make sure everyone stays safe and stress-free: • Mild reactivity / shy or guarded pets: +$10–15/day • Moderate reactivity / high-drive dogs: +$20/day • Bite history / aggression cases: +$25–40/day This covers situations where pets need more structure, safety protocols (like crates, gates, or drag lines), or where there’s an increased risk of bites. Extended Care & Multi-Pet Bookings: Custom pricing may apply for stays over 10 days, large multi-pet homes, or higher-effort care plans. I’ll always walk through everything clearly during the meet & greet so expectations are aligned. Repeat & Recurring Care: I’m happy to support ongoing or recurring care. After your first booking, feel free to reach out to coordinate future care that works best for both of us. Cleaning Add-On (Optional): I offer light cleaning during house sits (dishes, surfaces, laundry, etc.) if you'd like to come home to a tidy space. If the home needs more extensive cleaning, a custom add-on may apply.
A typical day
I tailor each day to your pet’s needs and routine — whether that’s a walk around the block, playtime at home, or quiet company. Some pets love fetch and interaction, while others just want a soft voice and a safe space to relax. Either way, I’m happy to match their pace. I keep things calm, consistent, and low-stress — with plenty of cuddles, affection, and attention throughout the day. Your pet’s comfort always comes first.

Reviews

Krysta is wonderful and keeps us informed of how our dogs are while traveling!

Krysta was so great with our dogs, sent lots of pics and came home to two happy pups! Highly recommend Krysta 😊

Krysta was amazing with my two very difficult, high energy, fear aggressive Belgian mals! I found her last minute before a trip because my usual sitter wasn’t available and was nervous as always leaving my dogs with someone new. She is very knowledgeable with different dog personalities and I was shocked my dogs warmed up to her after the first night! Will definitely be booking with Krysta again!
Krysta was great with our 2 dogs and cat. She sent us pictures and updates which made us feel secure that our fur babies were in great hands. Great communication. Will recommend her services to our friends and family,
