I don't currently have any pets but when I did, I was creative and quick witted to come up with safe, reliable ways to restrict my pet from going into a place they are not supposed to. For example, when I had a cat I used a very tall room divider to prevent my cat from going where he wasn't supposed to.

I've never had a dog before but I've always been drawn to them and plan to have one of my own in the future. I have dog sitted for some of my friends in the past and it allowed me to gain experience on caring for a pet without having one
