My love for dogs started when I was a kid—my grandpa taught me how to create gentle bonds with our family’s dogs. I became the one with the dog obsessed-personality and for two years I volunteered at the Animal Shelter in SLO, CA. It was so rewarding and all I ever want to do is make sure these animals always feel loved! Any time someone needs an amateur trainer, they call me! I love dogs, and want to make my passion for them into a career. Moving back home has been a fun adventure and I’m getting married next spring so any side quests helps me out and your furry friend!

Kristina was one of the best sitters we ever had during our time here in San Diego! We’ve gone through a lot and only a select few have left us with a great impression afterwards. Our corgi isn’t the easiest to take care of for most due to his high energy, but Kristina met and exceeded our expectations! From providing daily status updates as well as providing us a nice polaroid of our pup at the end, she did a great job.
Kristina did a incredible job taking care of my babies. I would use her again.
Kristina was a wonderful sitter for our pup Raffle. She went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable, took him for long walks, and gave him the space to run outside! She gave him treats and even gave him a toy to take home. She sent pictures throughout the weekend so we never had to worry about how Raffle was doing. We would definitely book with Kristina again :)

My own experience with dogs is unorthodox to some; it’s their world and I just live in it. I love them inside and following me around and don’t mind them on furniture or in rooms. I have experience with crate training if that is what is preferred, as well as dog walking since we learned tactics in the animal shelter. I also like to expand on dog enrichment to keep their minds engaged as well as their bodies!
Information Kristina C. would like to know about your pet
It’s always helpful to know how you take care of your dog so I don’t cross over any boundaries, such as if it’s okay they get a little human treat once in awhile or if it isn’t okay, etc. Please let me know if they have any allergies or medicine that needs to be administered. And lastly, please give me your best estimate on how well your dog does in public/with other dogs on a leash/etc. Reactivity can be different in every environment but having a general idea helps!
A typical day
I love taking the dogs out on a long walk throughout my neighborhood and letting them use their nose to sniff around. I have a few enrichment toys that will wear the mind and if that doesn’t work, my own dog Loki loves to play! If the owner is comfortable, I love taking dogs out to dog-friendly restaurants and coffee shops!

I’ve recently moved back home from San Diego and I’m ready to get back into dog-sitting for the time being! That means my availability is wide open and I can drop in for quick visits or weekend stays.
