Stay-at-home dog mom ready to play!

Dogs are such a huge part of my life! My heart swells when I see a dog and I feel a natural responsibility to take care of them. I became a dog sitter because I LOVE DOGS and because my home has a cute little backyard that needs more dogs! There is nothing in life better than a smiling, happy dog. One of the best parts of choosing me as your sitter is that your pup will have a fun friend to hang out with at all times! I have sweet Shih Tzu named Brody who is very fun and friendly! He loves making new friends and can’t wait to share the backyard with some new pups. He gets along with dogs of all shapes and sizes, so your pup will never be without a playmate! When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! I love talking to people, and believe that excellent communication is the foundation of any good booking. Getting as much information about you and your pup is my number one priority, because it allows me to give your dog the best stay possible. During the stay, you’ll receive updates from me regarding everything that we’ve done together. I love taking pictures too, so there will be lots of documentation! Of course, if you don't want me to blow up your phone with pics, just let me know and we can limit updates to one per day! Dog sitting is my full time job, so I will be here for your dog around the clock! Occasionally o may need to leave the house to run an errand, but if that makes you uncomfortable, I can wait until my hubby gets home from work so there’s always a human with your pup. I live in a cute, one-level (no stairs) condo in Arden with my husband Matt and my dog Brody. I have a big, open living room for play time and a sweet little fenced in backyard for romping and zoomies. I allow dogs on furniture and beds for the best snuggles, but if you do not allow your dog on furniture, I will do my very best to enforce that rule for you.

Kristi is truly a compassionate dog lover. Our dog had an amazing time and Kristi documented her stay with videos, updates and pics the whole time. Her home is perfect for keeping her doggie guests. We will use her for all of our pet sitting needs.

A typical day

The backyard is always the go-to spot to hang out, but there are tons of things that we can do other than that. My neighborhood is located in Arden, and it is a great place to play, walk, and just hang out. There are also plenty of doggos on our block and lots of opportunities to make new friends. The neighborhood is super safe with little traffic and lovely of walking paths. We’ll always have new things to explore. When we’re not out and about, I love to cook and even make homemade dog treats!

Some things I like to learn ahead of time: - Would you like to schedule a meet-and-greet before the stay? - What’s your preferred method of communication? - Does your pup have any health issues that need to be tended to? For instance, dietary restrictions, medicine, or behavior triggers? - Do you have a vet nearby that you trust? - Is your dog spayed/neutered? - Does your pup like to stick to a given schedule, like regular walks in the morning and evening? - What’s the best way to spoil your pup?
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
