Pet care experience
I grew up with cats and dogs from a young age, I trained hunting dogs growing up, and not surprisingly, I have always loved animals more than most people. While in middle and high school, I would pet sit for several family friends and neighbors. I have had several careers working with different animals and had a small career as a professional corporate dog trainer for about 2 years. I have an abundance of knowledge about dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, small animals, and aquatic life and I always keep emergency kitten and puppy food in my car for any strays that I come across. I am used to dogs and cats of all ages, temperaments, and personalities. I have kenneling, medicating, and restraint experience and I am an AKC certified dog trainer.

Kristian is amazing! My dog Atlas, takes time warming up to new people and she was very patient with him. She took the time to make him feel comfortable and ease him into his walks. I really appreciate the check ins, updates, and photos she would send. I will definitely be using her again!
Kristian has been phenomenal to work with, especially last minute sittings. She communicates very well and accomodates all of our request. My Scooby absolutly LOVES her! Kristian is my first of the list - go to pet sitter each and every time.

Information Kristian W. would like to know about your pet
I don’t have any breed or size restrictions, but I do like to know ahead of time if your dog has any allergies or stress triggers. I do also like to be aware of what training methods and habits they have so I don’t disrupt their training in any way. I would also like to know if you have any allergies, I have cats, reptiles, and a dog, and would like to know if any of that might affect you if we come in contact with one another.
A typical day
While inside I will engage in any games your dog or dogs are comfortable with, I understand how sometimes it can take some time for dogs to become comfortable with new people. I know how to make lick and snuffle mats out of house hold items for mental stimulation and also enjoy practicing different training methods your dog already knows in order to keep them entertained. Depending on the temperature outside, I do also enjoy taking dogs on walks while making sure they don’t overheat.
