Pet care experience
Hey there, my name is Kris. I began pet sitting when I was in grade school for two energetic shih tzus. Since then, I worked for families that own multiple pets (cats, bunnies, hedgehogs, etc.) While in college, I worked as a dog walker in Washington D.C. I also have experience working with more than one large dog at a time, as well as with dogs that are skittish or take time to warm-up to new people. Please don’t hesitate to inform me about any special needs/behaviors of your dog, and I will be as patient and accommodating as I can be. I also have experience with housesitting and overnight visits with pets. References are available upon request!

A former Rover dog sitter, I asked Kristen to act as my substitute when I moved out of state. In particular, she took over the job of sitting for two large dogs, one with a bite history, that feared strangers. The dogs are of course absolute sweethearts once they warm up to you, and Kristen had the patience and experience to get there with them. She is reliable, personable, and great to work with both as a pet owner and as a pet (I can only assume!) You can't go wrong with her!

I love the outdoors, so walks around your dog's neighborhood or local park are great. Playtime, fetch, and frequent pets/scratches/cuddling at your pet's preference are also available!

Availability
I work a hybrid-remote job so my schedule is quite flexible to suit the needs of you and your pet. For past clients, some only requested one daily walk while they were away at work, whereas other clients needed to leave for month-long trips and I would visit several times a day. I’m happy to negotiate what works best for everyone.
