Pet care experience
I've helped care for all kinds of animals, from baby chicks to horses since I was a little girl. I had my first dog about 15 years and he was like my baby. I currently have a chihuahua and mixed breed (Italian greyhound/jack Russell) I brought home from Italy. I can care for birds, fish, and reptiles as well. I'll even feed your chickens. I have 4 years of experience fostering puppies and dog sitting as well. I'm flexible on hours. I love to go on walks, play, and make it a fun day! Pets are family and I would care for yours like they were my own. While following any instructions you give, I'll ensure your pet is safe and accommodated at all times.

This was Oscar’s first overnight without us. He was with Kristin and her family for 2 nights. He was a bit anxious, but got better the 2nd night. Kristin took good care of him and tried to keep things as close as possible to his normal routine. We definitely recommend Kristin and will be using her again.
Kristen and her family were wonderful. Oscar,our dog, has only spend 1 other day away from us, so Kristen suggested a meet and greet prior. Oscar met her family, including her dogs, and we got to see how Oscar would respond. It went well. We schedule a time for Oscar to spend 5-6 hours without us. From the time we dropped him off until we picked him up, Kristen kept us informed and even sent photos of Oscar playing in the yard. He was excited to see us when we picked him up, but didn’t seem to be in a hurry to get into the truck to leave. Kristen will be our go-to sitter from now on.
During the introduction, her dogs were a little aggressive and snipped a few times, but we both thought that we'd give it a try and agreed that they did not get along she could drop him off at my house and could routinely drop by and care for him there. Kristen and her family were great. I was a little nervous about leaving my dog with someone new, but Kristen did such a good job those concerns went away pretty quick. They introduced their dogs with mine at a park beforehand and then routinely followed up with me with how he was doing while I was traveling. Definitely recommend.

If your dog plays well with others, and you are looking for boarding, I have a large fenced in yard and a safe neighborhood for walks. I can follow your feeding schedule, no matter if it's dry, wet, or raw foods. I can come morning or afternoons, or both if you need me to come to your home.

A typical day
I enjoy playing with my own dogs daily with their toys or outside with a Frisbee or ball. We also enjoy going on walks. These are the same things I can do with pets I watch to help stimulate them and give them exercise.

Availability
I'm a student and homeschooling mom, so I'm flexible on time. I play fetch a couple times a day with my own pets and work on simple commands with rewards. I make sure my pets feel loved and cared for.
