I grew up in a home full of dogs of all shapes and sizes, so I have a lifetime of hands-on experience with a wide variety of breeds and personalities. From playful puppies to wise senior dogs, I’ve learned how to make every pup feel safe, happy, and cared for. Whether it’s keeping them entertained, well-exercised, or simply loved while you’re away, I treat each dog (or any other species!) like part of the family. My first dog of my own was an incredibly sweet German Shepherd who adored tug-of-war, carrying giant sticks, kayaking, and bird-watching. Since she passed, I’ve missed having a four-legged adventure buddy. If your pup loves the outdoors, I’d be thrilled to take them hiking (my truck is always ready for the trail!). For those who prefer to stay closer to home, we’ll find plenty of fun right in the neighborhood. Whatever your dog’s personality or needs, I’m here to provide the care and companionship they deserve.

I am happy to do whatever you think is best for your pet. We could go for a walk around your neighborhood, play with their favorite toys at your home, or spend some time working on a new trick. Want a little more adventure? I have a fully enclosed truck bed so could take your dog out hiking or to a dog park if they enjoy the social scene.

Kona did such a great job with our dog. We had never left him before on a trip, but Kona was the perfect companion and took care of our little guy in the best way. Would highly recommend Kona. She is intuitive, thoughtful, and caring.
Kona is awesome! She has repeatedly demonstrated her understanding of what large, active breeds need, their behaviors and how to interact with them. She is reliable, a great communicator and is just generally very friendly. She's earned my full trust to housesit and take care of my GSD mix.

Programa
My time is super flexible right now as I am in a career transition. (Know anyone hiring a molecular biologist? 😆) I enjoy house-sitting any time, and doing weekday walks and drop-ins around midday.
