Pet care experience
I’ve had my own dogs and cats for the past 8 years now and loved every minute from walking, to bathing and snuggling! Alongside this I’ve pet sitter for several friends and family while they’ve been away on holiday or just out for the day, getting to look after other peoples pets as well as my own is something I enjoy as I get to make even more furry friends.

Kirsty has dog-sitted for me several times now, each time leaving both myself and my husband totally reassured that our pets are receiving fantastic care. She walks them responsibly whilst also sits and ensures they are comfortable and not alone when we need her. She always leaves the house immaculate and we trust her each time she is over.

Since I am currently only providing drop-ins and walks, I will be using your own facilities and equipment, including crates, leads and whatever else you would usually use to make your pet as comfortable as possible.

I think it’s really important to know a dog’s characteristics and behaviour ahead of time, this way I can prepare myself for the best way to take care of them. I also think knowing any special requirements is vital for being a responsible sitter.
A typical day
I love to take care of dogs by playing with them as well as taking them out for walks. I feel like the stimulation and fresh air is good for both them and me, my favourite walks are woodland ones with open areas full of pretty views.

I currently work from home a few days a week so have lots of free time within the day, where I am happy to fit in a cuddle or two with your pet, to help out with your own routine! Whilst being able to work around my own hybrid job.
