Availability
I offer cat sitting and small animal care. I have a full time job so the cat sitting fits around that. As a result, I keep my catchment area quite small. Morning visits are a quick hello beautiful, here's your breakfast, but in the evenings/at weekends I will happily spend at least an hour with your cats.

I take good care of your property while I'm looking after your cat. I'll pick up the post, water the plants, and if it's helpful I'll get bread and milk in for your return.
Information Kirsten H. would like to know about your pet
Are they likely to hide or are they friendly? Do they have access to outside eg a catflap, or are they indoors only? Do they like to go out in a harness? Will they plonk themselves on my lap for scritches?
A typical day
If you've booked morning visits which I fit in before work, I'll provide breakfast. At weekends and in the evenings I'll stay for at least an hour for play, cuddles, managing litter boxes etc as well as food and water.

Cat care experience
Hi, I'm Kirsten. I work full time, so I limit my catchment area to easy walks around home and work. I will sometimes accept jobs further away if I can manage it, but will usually charge a couple of quid extra. I can forward a photo of my Disclosure Scotland PVG certificate and am happy to show you the hard copy when we meet. We had cats throughout my childhood, but as an adult I didn't feel settled enough to get one of my own until 2014, when I adopted the gorgeous Pete from Lothian Cat Rescue, who has devoted himself to trying to convince me he needs more food. My vet (the Veterinary Cat Clinic in Edinburgh) has taught me to give injections to my own cat and I am confident I can offer this service to cats requiring sub-cutaneous injections, not intravenous or intramuscular. I scored full marks in the PDSA Petwise for Cats assessment. If you're kind enough to recommend me to someone who then books me, I will thank you with a small discount off your next booking with me. If you are looking to book me but I'm not available, I would recommend Myriam K.

Thank you Kirsten for looking after Broom so well!! From the photos and how he was when I came home I know he was very relaxed and happy 😊
Amazing pet sitter, she came to return the keys and my cat just run to her! My cat is a prince, he rarely bothers to run to me when i return home LOL. He is in love with Kirsten, meaning she was really nice with him. Thank you Kirsten :)
Kirsten looked after my cat again, and as always was reliable and caring. A lovely, trustworthy cat sitter.

Kirsten is friendly and flexible with good communication - thanks again!
