Pet care experience
We have a happy 5 yr old neutered lab who loves dog guests. Fenced yard, lots of outings, family snuggles - we are happy to welcome dogs to stay with us

Kirsten & family had our happy & energetic 9 month shephard/husky pup for 5 days, and I couldn't speak more highly of the experience. They were very welcoming, our puppy and their Lab got along fantastically, and we received lots of wonderful updates. I'm super grateful they were happy to have her crate in their room, so she could sleep nearby, and we picked up a very happy and tired dog :) Thank you!
Kirsten and family, including Rory their lab, were amazing hosts to Tucker. They provide a loving family atmosphere with a beautiful yard for the dogs and lots of walks. They even accommodated Tucker sleeping in bed with them which was so sweet. Tucker can have separation anxiety and not eat while we’re away but they made sure he had a quiet spot to eat and he ate! They sent photos every day which helped us relax knowing he was happy and relaxed. The best sign was Tucker was content and tired on the way home which let us know he had a great time and has made a new friend in Rory, the perfect host. We would highly recommend Kirsten and family as hosts for your furry friends.
This was our first time booking a stay through Rover.com and everything went very smoothly. Kirsten and Guy provided a happy home for our Charlie and kept us updated with pictures and texts. We're hoping they will take him again in the future.
Kirsten was wonderful! She gave frequent updates/ photos that kept us at ease while being away from our baby. She treated Luis like part of the family and gave him the care, nurture, and attention he needed. Luis came back to us bright and cheerful. He was treated so well and it showed.

Needs to be able to get along with our dog and to be fine with our 14 yr old son and his friends Before agreeing to pet sit we would want an introduction at our house- our dog is very easy-going and loves dog-guests… but we want to be sure and introduce them before their first stay.
A typical day
I work-my husband is retired-my son is in school depending on the day and schedule one or more of us take our dog (and guest) for morning and afternoon walks- park, beach, trails, local mystery tour We have a fully fenced yards so dogs can romp and play- or they can relax indoors with family We welcome your pet to our family

Family home- one of us is home in the day- so lots of flexibility, responsiveness and family time Your dog will join our family while they are with us- and if you want photos to see what your dog is doing- we are happy to send lots!
