What sets us apart from the rest?
We’re experienced, selective, and fully present. With over 20 years of hands-on pet care between us, we don’t overbook and we don’t treat pet care as a side gig. It’s a daily priority in our home. We intentionally limit the number of pets we accept so each animal gets real supervision, consistent routines, and individual attention. Our home is calm and structured, and we only accept spayed or neutered dogs who are comfortable around other pets. We also have experience caring for senior dogs and managing pets who need extra patience, medication, or routine support. Clients choose us when they want reliable, attentive care from sitters who communicate clearly and treat every pet like part of the household, not one of many.

James was an incredible caregiver for our two kids (Ronan and Lorelai). We returned to healthy, happy kitties. He was even able to get a shy Lorelai to emerge from hiding. We got multiple pictures daily--and some video--exactly what we wanted. James was also flexible and accommodating with our delayed flights home, and we were able to get him to visit two extra days without issue. He also communicated quickly with us. We recommend him without reservation.

Schedule
Pet care is built into our daily routine, not worked around it. We structure our days to be home, present, and attentive so pets aren’t left waiting for walks, meals, or supervision. Because we limit how many pets we take at one time, we’re able to maintain consistent schedules, provide regular exercise and enrichment, and adjust as needed for senior dogs or pets with specific routines. Boarding dogs are integrated into our household, and drop-ins and visits are planned carefully so we can be punctual and reliable. We only accept bookings when we can fully commit our time and attention, which keeps care consistent and low-stress for the pets we’re responsible for.

In our home, pets are cared for in a calm, structured environment with close supervision throughout the day. We follow each pet’s established routine for meals, walks, medications, and rest, and we keep the number of pets limited so everyone gets individual attention. Dogs are integrated into our household rather than kept separate or rotated, and safety and compatibility are always prioritized. In clients’ homes, we respect routines and instructions closely. We arrive on schedule, provide focused care during each visit, and make sure pets are exercised, fed, and settled before we leave. We’re attentive to details like medications, senior care needs, and changes in behavior. Across all services, we communicate clearly and provide regular updates so owners feel informed and confident while they’re away.
Pets
A typical day
We focus on everyday enrichment rather than high-stimulation outings. Dogs in our care get multiple daily walks through Park La Brea’s expansive, grassy grounds, which offer plenty of space to explore, sniff, and move at a comfortable pace. Inside our home, pets are free to relax and roam. Dogs are welcome on the couch, can settle wherever they’re comfortable, and stay close to us throughout the day. We spend a lot of time engaging with them through play, affection, and calm companionship rather than constant activity. Our approach works especially well for dogs who enjoy routine, space to wander, and being part of a household rather than treated like they’re at a camp or daycare.
