Hi there! I’m Kira/Kiwi🥝(they/she) :)) Over my 14+ years of pet care experience, I’ve cared for a wide variety of pets, including dogs of all ages (seniors included!) and sizes (biggest was 125lbs; prefer a 100lb max limit plz :)). Caring for gentle giants, puppies, and dogs that get a bad rap is where I feel most comfortable🥰 I trained all my dogs and took care of them from age 8 onwards, and have cared for many of my friends' dogs as well. I grew up with a Lab/German Shepherd rescue and raised a Lab/Pit/Pointer rescue pup, and for a brief time, a grown Rottie when I was a baby. I also have experiences with dog bathing and routine grooming/trimming; my regulars were Goldens and Labs (big puppies to arthritic seniors), small puppies (I got lots of pug puppies!), our sweet and vocal Huskies, many anxious pups, and a majority of my lovely furry clients were Pitties and bully breeds of all ages. I also have plenty of experience with anxious dogs and cats of all ages; I’m very patient and I let Them set the pace! I’m quick on my feet, a fast learner, and I will care for your furry children as if they were my own. I can’t wait to meet you and your dog(s)! I have known Kira for almost 3 years and I have never seen them be anything less than gentle, kind, and deeply loving and caring with all animals they interact with. They form bonds very naturally with different animals—it's like cats and dogs just know that they can be trusted when they see them. They have taken care of many animals of their own and others', doing their best to meet their diverse needs whether that's as newborns, animals with histories of being on the street, animals with health complications, etc etc. Beyond this, they are a skilled communicator and work extremely hard in all roles I have seen them take on, whether that is in customer service or education or as a student making their way through university. (They graduated with honors in May 2025 and I'm so proud of them 🥰) I have no doubt that Kira will be a superb caregiver to any animal they encounter through Rover. I could not recommend them strongly enough.
Kiki did an exceptional job working with my dog. I could tell because my dog was very sad when she left. I will be seeking out her services again!
I’ve known Kiwi for a while now and there’s no one in the world i would trust to take care of my fur babies. Kiwi has not only been so patient with my cat who’s in a new home but has been very gentle with my family’s dog. Kiwi has a big soft spot for pitbulls and gentle giants as well as an extensive knowledge on how to care for so many different kinds of animals. I’ve seen them interact with their own cat Luci while he was being domesticated and i have never seen someone be more kind, understanding or patient as kiwi. They’re very in-tune with every animal they come across and i would highly recommend their pet care!
kira has taken care of my cats in the past and has done a wonderful job! she’s compassionate and adores animals with a passion. i’ve seen her work with cats, dogs, etc and she loves them all!

Please let me know if your dog has any allergies to foods, medications, etc., as well as their preferences around other beings (yes to cats, kids, other dogs?). What does their typical behavior look like? Does that often change around strangers? I have experience working with dogs and cats with anxiety and my patient approach encourages them to trust on their own time.
A typical day
I would plan a nice walk around their favorite spots and play for a while at a park or your backyard! Some training and mental stimulation is important for their overall health so some language association and training will be implemented, appropriate to their skill and activity level :))
