Pet care experience
I started caring for pets at 12 years old. Babysitting hoomans was very short. I’ve always enjoyed helping my friends and neighbors walk their poochies I’ve even baby sat a few some for a weekend some for a few months I done where there were multiple different animals in the home from dog, 15-year cat, Guinea pig, I made sure they were fed, bathed, if needed to be and walked. I've helped a friend watched her pets where it was every month for 3 years. Ive had a pregnant cat , ive fostered kittens, Ive also watched puppies. Im also a hiker I go on at least 2 mile hikes 2 times a week. Need support at the vet? I’ve got you I’m also an emotional support human for your fur babies. I’ve owned many pets myself rats (5), hamsters, fish, ferrets, sugar gliders, lizards, cat, dogs (least 9 in my lifetime) ranged from Great Danes to lapso apso to chow chow mixed. I have a 20 year-old daughter who is my teammate, and she helps tag team if I need to be she enjoys it just as much as I do Shes been helping me for past 6 years or so. She will also help me with the walks. After about 6 years We finally got our own doggo a Border Collie mixed lots of energy he gets 2 walks a day of at least 30 minutes, mix play time, hikes at least two times a week for him we do at least 3 miles He is good with cats and other dogs. For the past 3 years I've helped train 3 of my friends and their dogs all were puppies, each knows at least five to ten commands. My boy knows about 20 commands and 3 buttons (those things he can touch to use words) and we do some agility training puzzles snufflemats he is not short on entertainment or stimulation.

Wonderful! Kimmie watched our dog Chloe for 10 days and house sat. Chloe loved her! She sent lots of pictures and took great care of our house and dog. Highly recommend.
Kimmie was wonderful, did above and beyond for house sitting with our cat. She sent us lots of photos and video updates which also proved how much our cat loved and trusted her quickly. Even cleaned up our cat’s accident really thoroughly. We would definitely recommend Kimmie!

My boy is great with other dogs and can keep your dog company if they get lonely. Would make a great packwalk buddy. I do have a extra kennel for up 70lb dogs (which I do clean throughly after use ) . I do prefer their own kennel if applicable for it smells like their own space . Some dogs quite like knowing they have their own space to go to. I want them to feel like they have their own space to go to if they don’t want to sleep on the couch or bed with us I want them to feel comfortable in any space and any room they are in . Kennel is only used when neither of us are home and for safety as a precaution I do not kennel the dogs in the same kennel when we leave . I also know where emergency vets are if needed I have the animal poison hotline number also on hand these are things I learned over the years good things to have handy . My dog max has gotten his fair share of things you shouldn’t eat infact I’ve gone as far as not even not having things in my house because I want him to be safe so the safety applies very strongly here . Even my two plants are high off the ground that only a Great Dane would be able to reach .

Please finish reading - Some quick things if I do not get response after responding back to you after 3 days I will automatically archive the request . I’m very big on communication as you will have full access to it during the stay period . If BOARDING humping is an absolute no (my boy does not like this ) he doesn’t do this or to other dogs and he is not afraid to tell them no they are over stepping a boundary so if you are uncomfortable with them being told no (for humping ) a different arrangement might be more be suitable if you have a dominant humper i unfortunately can’t not board that is the only behavior my boy is intolerant of , I do not apply this to house sitting as I do not bring my dog to house visits unless otherwise instructed play time is ok with having guests . Must be friendly with other dogs and well behaved quirks are fine as long as not destructive or dominant like and must like children(I get little visitors regularly who want to come play with max ) also must have good manners meaning no chewing issues and doesn’t jump on the table as mine does not have this issue . I will not be able to board them if they have either of those things chewing is only allowed with their toys and treats . Dogs under one with puppies it is expected I observe very closely with puppies and can guide them throughout their stay . Also with puppies I do require that they had their first set of shots or at least up to date on their vaccines . I have a 20-year-old daughter who helps me out often as she loves the teaching experience. For BOARDING ONLY Must be able to tolerate kennel use . also I don’t leave the dogs unattended by themselves just as a safety precaution. For House Sit If they don't like other dogs i would need to know in advance so i can arrange a more private setting and will have to be in your home or park of your choice for meet and greets . I ONLY KENNEL at MY HOUSE when Im out running errands but my daughter is home full time and finished with school so if they do get kenneled it is only for short periods or if we both are out doing errands . I DO NOT REQUIRE you to kennel your dogs if they are in YOUR HOME . Any information you have that you want to share with me, your best friends comfortability is important to me.
A typical day
If you have any of their favorite toys(only need a couple ) , we will play with them for you fetch, tug a war, find it (if they are good sniffers) for treats, snufflemats, agility course. I’ve done basic training more than willing to help teach basic commands for fun. We enjoy getting pup cups on occasion also. We take different routes for walks sometimes it’s been said it’s stimulates the dogs mind when going somewhere new . We treat everyone’s animal as if they were one of our own and we have double the love to offer while in our care.

Availability
I'm currently home full time , so I’ll have plenty of time to play and give your fur baby undivided attention with your doggos . My daughter is finished with school so she also home full time as well. Walks are given early mornings late evenings we do not go out if it’s above 90 during the summer we won’t go out if it’s to hot for the dogs but will do other activities to compensate I do have a large doggy pool I get out for summer time . Winter time similar concept we do not go out if it’s below 25 degrees and walks are a lot shorter . If you have booties we will use them . Snow suit ? We’ll put that on too . We walk in snow rain or shine . Not hurricane status though we skip those .
