Have spent time looking after numerous shapes and sizes of dogs but have owned 2 amazing GSD’s who changed my life. The unconditional love and loyalty from these 2 dogs can not be described! But they each had their own quirks - Zeus loved humans but not dogs although in his older years he was much less concerned, choosing to snuggle on the sofa than go & bark at the dogs in the park Jupiter (Jupe) came very shortly after Zeus and mended my broken heart a little bit…but he sadly passed away before he was 4 years old. He was the runt of the litter, a late developer and beyond the people he bonded with in his early years was not good with new people. He had nervous aggression and I did a lot of dog training with him to make him less reactive so I am well versed in big dogs and those which require a little more care & consideration with their interactions.
