I have a reactive (due to trauma) pit bull who makes a terrible first impression to the point where people cross the street when we are walking. She is so scared of new situations and other dogs, she becomes highly reactive to the point where most people avoid her. She has separation anxiety and takes medication to help, but new people, dogs, and environments are just tough for this dog. I can't trust just anyone to care for her or walk her. Kendra's energy made an immediate positive impact on my dog and I would trust her with any dog or cat. She's compassionate, thoughtful, and detail oriented. You couldn't wish for a better pet care professional than Kendra. My only advice is get on her calendar now because it fills up quickly! Kendra has cared for pets her whole life and brings years of experience and knowledge. She's my number 1 go-to for my dog.

Care to be in your home, unless special conditions are made. My current familiar is a gorgeous grey Nebelung cat, adopted as a kitten 5 years ago. She requires a special ZD diet and biweekly subcutaneous shots. I have experience attaching kitty nail caps, when she was younger, with coordinated guidance while we were sussing out an unknown skin condition that was causing her to scratch aggressively, continually opening wounds, not giving them a chance to heal. Her condition is now under control, and she no longer requires the nail caps. Prior cats I have cared for have ranged from 3 lbs to 28 lbs! Our family pooch is an English Springer Spaniel, a unique tri-color showcasing beautiful Sable color. We welcomed him to our home 6 years ago. He is our 2nd Springer in 21 years. They are such a loving, fun, and gentle breed. I have much experience in connecting with and walking rescue dogs as well, mixed breeds including Sharpei, Pit Bull, Rottie, Jack Russel, Corgie, Labradoodles, Spaniels, etc. Sanitation is the start of keeping our friends safe and healthy; exercise and fresh air are necessary as well to have a happy, healthy home life. I can provide these things for your loved furry friend(s) while you are traveling or working.

A typical day

I love walks with dogs on the beach, getting our toes wet at the edge of the water! Although our weather doesn't always support the beach, I do try to make the most of the seasons! Exercise and play time can be anything your fur friend loves... rolling around on the floor or yard with a favorite toy, paw or cheek massages, fetch with a frisbee, ball, or toy. Playing soccer with pooch once they learn the game ;) Talking to your fur friend helps them be at ease, learning what they are accustomed to and what their person hopes and wishes for their development and socialization. We will discuss your fur friend's needs, alongside your wishes and my capabilities, to create a symbiotic relationship for wellness and care, while you take care of your business or pleasure away from the home, knowing your pooch or kitty is in competent, caring hands!
