Pet care experience
I have had three dogs over 13 years, including a Boston Terrier, a bossy senior Bichon rescue, and a muppet of King Charles Cavalier. They have easy access through a dog door to our fenced backyard. I have trained, groomed, and cared for them. I especially love taking photos of dogs and documenting their antics and unique personalities. I have cared for neighbor's dogs and cats over the years. I have some neighbors who say that I am the only person their dog likes outside of the family. I believe I excel in making connections with all furry creatures.

I am comfortable picking your dog up from your yard or home for a walk or hike in the woods. I am also happy to have a play session with your pet in your home or in your yard. I have a medium-sized fenced yard, with two friendly doggos and have dog doors into a large garage as well as into the house. I can isolate my doggos into separate spaces if yours would prefer to be alone.

It is helpful to know your style of dog training/behavior expectations so that I can reinforce those expectations when you are not there. It is also good to know if your dog has any movement restrictions or special needs I can support. My dogs are both small and get along well with others, but I am happy to work with dogs that prefer to be a solo act or are large and in charge.
A typical day
I love walking in the Anacortes Forest lands and on the Tommy Thompson with the doggos, which are both within a 10-minute walk from my home. The Ace of Hearts dog park is only a few blocks away and I walk there often and play in the small dog area with my dogs. My dogs love chasing balls with a chuck-it and lazing in the sun in their own south-facing room.

I am available during the day as I am a house spouse and love all animals especially cats and dogs. We have two doggos, so can add another one or two to our routine easily.
